Chapter 7

*ashtons pov*

School finished and luke met me at my locker I Diddnt speak to him I just motioned for him to follow me

We walked to my house and headed upstairs to my room my phone buzzed and I took it out to see a text from my little sister Lauren

Lauren: ashyy! Mam said your in charge she's not in me and Harry are though but your with your friend so I'll leave you I'm peace

I smiled grateful for her being understanding and grabbed my guitar

I handed it to luke and started scribbling lyrics down lyrics most of the song was about him but I tried not to make it to obvious

So far I had

Back in high school we used to take it slow

Had a job downtown working the servo

Had me waiting in line couldn't even let go

Cos I never wanna be that guy who doesn't even get a taste

I chucked the lyrics and the notes at luke and he started playing the guitar and singing

And let me tell you he sounded like an angel I wanted to fan girl over him so badly but I had to keep the bad boy front

When he finished he looked directly into my eyes and I swear I saw his eyes flicker down to my lips but I shrugged it off he's straight!

" what do you think?" He asked " your alright I guess" I said casually

" I um like your new look" he said " thanks I guess?" I said more like a question

We sat in silence and he started moving closer and closer to me, we were inches apart when my door flew open

It was oscar, he was grinning like an idiot and pulled me over to him and kissed me roughly

He pulled away and winked at me " you told me you'd show me more if I came over" he said wiggling his eyebrows

" umm lukes here, and were kind of working on a song, maybe another day?" I asked still shocked " ok " he chirped and with that he left my house

I was so confused until I felt my phone buzz and read the message

Oscar: you looked shocked, I heard that luke was coming round yours so it was my little plan to make him jelous, your welcome im such a great friend <3

Ashton: I get it know thanks osc <3

I locked my phone and turned my attention back to luke

I scratched the back of my head and said " um wanna stay for tea and we can work on the song a bit more? Im still pissed with you!"

Luke looked nervous but agreed anyway

I dragged him downstairs to where my siblings where sat Lauren ran up to me and pinched my cheek

" Ooo ashy you look like a bad boy your still a cutie though" she squealed I turned red with embarrassment

" I think he looks cool" Harry added I rolled my eyes " ok, knock it off you two, this is luke he's staying for tea what do you want?"

" Pizza " they both shouted I mentally face-palmed but I turned to luke " is that ok with you" I asked he smiled and said " I love pizza, I'll give you a hand"

We headed into the kitchen and started making the pizza when I suddenly realised about what he saw with oscar but before I managed to say something he did

" so about earlier" lukes paused " are you two like a thing" he asked curiosity written all over his face

"I-I don't really know" I replied he studied my face and then asked " is he who the songs about?"

I shook my head and he sent me a confused look and said " who's it about then?"

I nervously played with my snake bites and lukes eyes widened " just some guy but he's straight and got a girlfriend so that's why it's called out of my limit" I said casually

"What's the guy called?" He questioned and that was it for me " shut it Hemmings I'm still annoyed with you" I spat and he looked hurt

We were now just in an uncomfortable silence moving around the kitchen making the pizza when it was done I called me siblings to the table

We were all sat at the table eating when Lauren spoke up " luke right? Wait your the boy caly and ashy we're
Talking about saying your sexy or something like that there right though"

I sent Lauren a death glare but tried to act like I was to busy texting to notice what she'd said I was so embarrassed

Luke just stared at me in awe " you called me sexy?" He asked seeming unsure of himself

" no I did not! I said all the girls in the school think your sexy but I don't get why because your so not! I wouldn't go for you even if you were the last person alive" I snapped luke looked down and picked up his phone

"I-I'm just going to go we can finish the song off some other time" he then left and I just sat there

I just upset the boy I've had a major crush on forever!

I just hurt luke hemmings

I just said something horrible

What am I doing? I feel so bad!!!!
