Chapter 8

*ashtons pov*

I woke up and all that was on my mind was lukelukeluke I really liked him and now I've hurt him!

The thing I don't understand is that he's straight and has a girlfriend why should he be so bothered anyway?

I played with my spider bites and then quickly shoved my cloths on i was wearing black skinny jeans combat boots and a top with a skull on and to top it all of I had a black bandana in my hair

After I finished getting dressed I headed to school and guess what my first lesson was music!

I walked into the school to be greeted by Calum and Michael Calum jumped on me and Michael just stayed put

"Hey caly! Hey mikey!" I said casually " Ashton hiiii I missed you!!" Calum shouted he reminds me of an excited puppy sometimes!

"Hi" Michael muttered, "what's up with you?" I asked him curious of why he was being this way

" you made a real dick move Ashton Luke's really upset, you change your look and your personalities gone with it two! I'm still your friend it's just Luke's like a brother and he's really upset " Michael stated annoyance obvious in his tone

" Michael I'm sorry I'll make it up to him I promise I don't wanna loose you or him!" I said my voice breaking in the middle

" you both just need to admit your feelings to eachother " Michael mumbled to himself not expecting me to hear

I was so curious what he meant by that but I was pulled from my thoughts when arms wrapped around me

It was Calum he pulled me into a tight embrace and said " I'll always love you even if your a dick, your also coming round mine tomorrow, let's get to class"

I smiled and followed him into the class the first thing I saw was luke sat in the back with red puffy eyes and he looked as though he needed to sleep

I walked over and sat next to him the teacher called out everyone's names and set us off on doing the work

It was weird that I was still fan girling over luke but I was trying not to do it so often

" luke I'm so sorry, i diddnt mean it it's just my sister said what she said and I diddnt want you to think I had a crush on you!" I said

Luke looked me dead in the eye no emotions showed what so ever then he shrugged

" I don't need your pity Ashton, you can't change your appearance then start acting like someone your not! Yes you look hot but that's not the point and you've made it pretty clear that in your eyes I'm totally undateable" luke said calmly

Did he just call me hot?

" luke I-" I started to explain but luke cut me off " save it Ashton, at least jasmine thinks I'm date able" luke sneered

My heart dropped everything seemed to stop and fall apart I felt so broken why am I so obsessed with him?

The whole lesson me and luke just ignored eachother we kept getting strange looks from Calum and Michael but we both shrugged it off

At the end of the lesson i wrote a note saying "text me when you want to come over and finish off the song" and handed it to luke

I then walked off with Calum and Michael and we went in the lunch hall

All I saw at lunch was luke and jasmine flirting her playing with her hair laughing at everything he was saying

Sitting on his knee while he wrapped his arms around her and all I could think was why can't that be me

It was pretty easy to see because the 'popular' table was right in the middle of the hall and my table was right next to it

Normally Michael would be on that table but he choose to sit with me and Calum today

I couldn't concentrate on anything my friends where saying all I could see was my crush and his girlfriend my straight crush and it was killing me

I couldn't take no more so I stood up and fled the hall I decided to just skip the rest of school

On my way out I spotted oscar he stopped me and asked " what's up ashy are you alright mate?" I shook my head 'no' and he asked why

Once I was done explaining the whole Luke jasmine thing he offered to skip school with me so now we were heading back to my house

We went in and played mario kart about 2 hours later my phone buzzed indicating that I had a text

Luke: could I come over in ten to work on the song

Before I got a chance to reply oscar snatched my phone from my hands

" what are you doing?" I asked " texting him telling him it's fine so in ten minutes we need to start making out I told him the doors open so he'll walk in on us and it'll make him jealous and up your chances of getting him!" Oscar explained

" oscar that's a good idea but you don't have to do that for me!" I said " ash your a really good mate and I hate seeing you down id do anything to help, plus I get a hot make out session" oscar said wiggling his eyebrows

When the time got nearer oscar smashed his lips against mine and started roughly kissing me

I eagerly kissed back and soon he swiped his tongue across my bottom lip we fought for dominance but he won

Soon his tongue was roaming every of my mouth I heard the door open but I was top focused on the kiss to care

"Ashton im here-" luke said stopping before he had chance to finish I pulled away from oscar and wiped my lips " umm hi" I said awakardly

Oscar clicked his tongue and shouted " well I best be going bye ash" with that he left as luke just stared at me

I lead luke to my room and we began working on the song again

" so the song was about oscar you lied?" Luke asked bitterness coating his tone

" no luke I was telling the truth and I'm sorry about what I said! Ok is that not enough for you?!?" I shouted

" well who Ashton who's ' out of your limit' we are writing this song together!" Luke spat bitterly

" it's you! It's all been for you the piercings the change is all been for you it's always you I can't believe you haven't noticed before I practically fangirled over you for over a year and now you've got a girlfriend and you never noticed me that's why I changed myself so you'd notice me that's why I Didn't mean what I said I was just trying to hide it from you luke that's why oscar kissed me it's all been for you! Your just a little but out of my limit..." I screamed out not realising what I was saying

Luke didn't say anything he just looked at me

I covered my mouth tears falling from my eyes at the secret I just let out

I expected luke to call me or leave but he didn't he wiped away my tears and smiled at me sadly

We locked eyes and then Luke did something unexpected

He slammed his lips onto mine LUKE HEMMINGS WAS KISSING ME the luke hemmings I was partying on the inside but then he pulled away

"I-I can't d-do this" luke muttered and with that he left

I was just left thinking

What just happened?
