I duck behind the side of the house, quickly gearing up my suit, preparing myself for anything that might happen. I see Spidey start swinging away towards the bright blue explosion...without me.
"Ugh come on!" I sigh out. Left behind once again. I start running after him, looking towards the horizon. I create flat shields that act as steps as I run and jump on them, boosting me further in the direction I'm heading in. I reach a golf course and that's when I hear it:
"This sucks!" Spidey exclaims, no longer able to swing on anything.
"Hey!" I say jumping down next to him, "Were you trying to ditch me?" I tease him.
"(Y/n)!" Peter sighs out, "There's something going on over there..."
"Yeah I saw the explosion, let's hurry before anything else happens."
Peter looks towards the horizon once more, dreading the run he was about to face.
"Wait I have an idea!" I say before lifting my hands creating a force field a distance away from us high up in the air. "Can you swing on that?"
"(Y/n) you're a genius!" Peter says excitedly, picking me up hurriedly.
"Yeah yeah I know," I say jokingly. "Now come on my partner in crime! We got a mystery to solve!"
"Yeah! Wait, partner in crime? But we're fighting crime." He says tuning to me.
"Dude." I say creasing my eyebrows.
"Right, right. Let's do this!" Peter says, determined.
We swing above in the air, using my force fields as we try to spot the place where the explosion occurred. Once we found it, we hopped down onto a bridge to find three men and a van. What is going on here?
Peter and I tried listening in on the guys' conversation but it was hard to make anything out. "They're selling weapons," I whispered to Peter.
"This must be where the ATM robbers got their stuff!" Peter whispered back looking between the men and I.
One of the men selling the weapons suddenly points a gun towards the buyer accusing him of setting them up. But before anything could happen, Peter flips off the bridge, "Hey! Come on, if you're gonna shoot at somebody, shoot at me!"
