I was walking through the tower with Happy, helping move boxes around. I had just finished talking to Wanda about my first day of school, and she's already so excited for me.

"So..." Wanda started, slightly smirking, "Are there any cute boys or girls or well, people that you've met?"

I laughed playfully pushing at her shoulder, "What? No! I just started school and I'm barely even figuring out how to make friends let alone find someone to date!"

She looked at me, squinting her eyes before stating, "Don't lie. I can tell just by the look on your face. Now tell me, who is it?"

I quickly looked down, pressing my hands against my then blushing cheeks and finally told her about a little spider that may or may not had caught my eye.

She gasped and squealed before taking my hand and squeezing it, "Oh young love! How cute!"

I laughed at her fangirling before quickly saying, "It's not love we're honestly just friends!" Standing up to gather up another box of items.

"Okay," she chuckled after me starting to walk out of my room before whispering, "I'll give that like a month."

I gasped before chucking a nearby pillow at her as she quickly ran out of my room for cover.

I finally placed my last box of things before spotting Happy, who was on the phone with someone. I started heading towards him, mindlessly scrolling through my phone before hearing Peter on the other line, frantically rambling about a robbery with high tech weapons before Happy cut him off, explaining how he doesn't have time for his shenanigans when we are moving by next week.

I heard a pause on the other line before Peter softly says, "Moving? But what about me? What about (Y/n)?"

"What about you? And, what about (Y/n)?"

"What if Mr. Stark needs me or something, or if , I d-don't know, something big goes down? And (Y/n), will she still be going to Midtown High? Will we still see each other?"

Happy softly sighs as Peter continues, "Look can I please just talk to Mr. Stark or (Y/n)?"

I quickly follow Happy into the elevator as he ends the call. "Was that Peter? Is he okay?" I quickly ask, worried.

Happy glances down towards me and states, "He's fine. But if you're that worried, here's his number. It seems like he needed to talk to you anyways."

I quickly thank him before hopping out of the elevator and towards my room where I quickly messaged Peter and we agreed to meet up at his apartment to talk. I headed out, rushing to find Spidey.

—————

I found his place, quickly sneaking through his window, only to jump as I heard a loud crash. I quickly turned to see Peter, still in his suit before realizing Ned was there too, staring at him in disbelief. Oh crap.

"What was that?" I heard a distant call before Peter quickly yelled, "Uhh, nothing!"

"You're the Spider-man," Ned said, almost out of breath, "from YouTube!"

"No no no! I'm not!" Peter tried denying, as I softly laughed, alerting the boys that I was there.

"Oh um...hey?" I say awkwardly, glancing between the two.

Ned quickly looked over towards me, "(Y/n), did you know about this?"

I chuckle, "Yeah, I did."

"And you never told me?" Ned gasped, betrayal written all over his face.

I halfway shrug, "Hey I have my own secrets to keep!" Before making a small round force field, hovering it over my hand.

"No freaking way," Ned nearly shrieked, "you're the newest hero that's been running around?" He sunk further back into the bed, "This is the greatest day of my life."

Suddenly, the door creaked open, making Peter quickly take off his suit, kicking it away before anyone else sees. A young woman walked in, giggling, explaining how their dinner plans failed and while she suggested Thai, she spotted me, suddenly surprised and excited as she exclaims, "Hi! I'm May, Peter's aunt, it is so nice to meet you!"

I smile and shake her hand, introducing myself. "Would you and Ned like to join us for Thai?" Aunt May says happily, before Peter explains "No, they've got a thing...to do...later."

"Oh, okay," Aunt May softly says before glancing at her nephew, "Um, maybe put on some clothes." With that, she quickly walked out, closing the door behind her.

Peter quickly grabbed a nearby sweater, as I looked away, hoping my blush wasn't noticeable as I internally screamed.

"She doesn't know?" Ned whisper-yelled.

"Nobody knows! Well besides (Y/n) and Mr. Stark because he made my suit but that's it!"

"Tony Stark made you that?!" Ned exclaimed before softly gasping, "Are you an Avenger?"

"Yeah basically."

"Is there anything else you're keeping from me?" Ned wondered aloud.

"Umm yeah actually," I awkwardly say, "Tony Stark is my adoptive father."

Ned looked between Peter and I, "I think I'm going to pass out."

Peter and I glanced at each other nervously before quickly explaining to Ned that he couldn't tell anyone about this. Ned promised,
although I could tell he's going to have a hard time keeping this a secret, before Peter quickly rushed him out the door letting him know what he would see him tomorrow.

After quickly closing the door, he turned around, leaning against it sighing as he covered his face with his hands. I walk towards him, and gently grab his wrists, pulling his hands away from his face, "Peter?"

He looks down towards me, pain written all over his gaze as I softly take his hands in mine, trying to comfort him. "Look, I know this is hard, and trust me I'm worried about this too, but don't beat yourself up or anything over it okay?"

He softly sighs, and I continue, "You're not going through this alone, I'm here for you, we're partners now, remember?"

Peter chuckles and softly smiles, "Yeah you're right."

I laugh, before slightly shrugging, "What can I say? I always am."

Suddenly realizing that we were still holding hands, I clear my throat, quickly letting go and awkwardly stepping back. "A-anyways, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" Nervously chuckling and tugging at my sleeves.

"Yeah, s-see you tomorrow," Peter replies, rubbing the back of his neck.

He then awkwardly shuffles away from in front of the door, allowing me to walk out. I quickly say my goodbyes to Aunt May and leave the apartment complex, once again screaming internally.

God why am I so awkward.
