I only own this plot and storyline, all Marvel characters belong to, well, Marvel.
I followed Peter to a small deli, trying to catch up with him. He walked inside, greeting who I assumed was the owner of the shop. While Peter grabbed two packs of gummy worms, I grabbed a pack of [favorite candy] and waited behind him in line to pay.
"How's your aunt?" Mr. Delmar asked, leaning over the counter.
"Yeah, she's alright," Peter answered looking down.
Mr. Delmar turned to another worker at the shop and said in Spanish, "She's a very hot Italian woman."
Smirking, Peter asks, "How is your daughter?"
Shocked, Mr. Delmar straightens up, he hadn't realized Peter spoke Spanish. Hearing Peter's comment, I couldn't help but laugh. Both of the guys turned and looked towards me, and I muttered a little, "Sorry."
Peter sighed, figuring out that it would be a lot harder to get rid of me than he thought. He paid Mr. Delmar his five dollars and pushed past me and quickly left the shop.
Mr. Delmar glanced at me and asked, "Is there something going on between you two?"
I look up, replying while handing him the money, "O-oh Peter and I? No, there isn't anything going on."
Mr. Delmar chuckled and muttered a little, "Okay," and I quickly left the deli.

Where did he go? I wondered as I looked around the street. Tony gives me one job, and I'm already failing at it! I sigh, he couldn't have gotten far. Looking up at the tall buildings, I got an idea.
Walking behind a building, making sure I couldn't be seen in the alley, I took a deep breath and concentrated. I held my hand out and a small, flat shield appeared before me. I took a step onto it, and created another slightly higher. I did this again and again until I reached the roof. I looked around, where are you Spidey? Then I spotted him, as he took off, swinging towards another direction. I mentally groaned, so the chase begins.

Peter's Pov:
After gearing up, I quickly swing myself up onto the roof, taking a deep breath, finally being able to relax. I swing from building to building, excited to finally be out of school and away from the others...from Y/n. It's not that I don't like her, it's just that I don't like how she has to practically babysit me. I trust Mr. Stark and what he does but, this was a bad idea. I'm not a kid!
Swinging around I spot someone stealing a bike. I quickly swing down, dropping in front of the thief. He stops, and I ask, "Can you hold this for a second? Thanks!" I web him up, and ask around to see if the bike belonged to anyone. When no one said it was theirs, I ask for a pen and leave a note. Smiling to myself, I swing off again.

(Y/n) Pov:
After putting on my suit, I hop from building to building, chasing after the arachnid.

{Note: This is how I imagine the suit would look like, however you can change it if you would like.}
Finally, I find him once again, webbing up someone who stole a bike. Dropping down, using my force fields to help me, I quickly go after him. Until I spot a woman on the ground who had been pushed. I quickly run over to her and help her up. "Are you okay?"
The woman looks up at me, gripping her arm, "I'll be alright, thank you."
I look down, "Does your arm hurt? I can help you with that."
The woman hesitantly brought her arm towards me, and I bring my hands up above it, healing the bruise that had been forming. She looked at the glowing light around her arm, and was amazed to see that her arm was healed. "Thank you!" She said gratefully.
I smile softly at her, although I wasn't sure if she could even see it, and I quickly turn to call out to Spidey, but once again he was gone. I groan, then continued after him.

I eventually caught up to him on the roof of a tall building. He was sitting on the edge, thinking. I walk over and sit down next to him, seeing a beautiful view of the city. I sigh, "Finally, I've been trying to talk to you all day Spidey."
"Look, I'm sorry, (Y/n) but I don't want you to practically be my babysitter, I-i don't need someone to protect me." Peter looked down, avoiding my eyes.
I smile, "Peter, I can tell you don't need a protector, and quite frankly, I don't want to have to follow you around all day against your will."
Peter chuckles behind the mask and I continue, holding my hand out to shake, "Friends?"
Peter smiles, "Yeah, let's be friends." He takes my hand and we shake on it.
I look back out towards the city, "So Spider-Man, where to next?"
—————
After running around the city, we spot someone trying to break into a car. Quickly jumping into action, Peter webs the guy in the face and slams his head into the car.
"Hey buddy! You shouldn't steal cars, it's bad!"
"It's my car dumbass!" The guy explains.
"Whoops! Sorry about that!" I quickly exclaim, rushing over to the guy and healing his head.
Many people started yelling at us, and Peter and I frantically tried to explain ourselves. "Don't make me come down there you punks!"
"Sorry! Sorry!" Peter and I quickly exclaimed, then hurried off.
