The weekend passed and it was time to go back to school again. I looked in the mirror once more checking my neck.

It was like it was never there.

Once I woke up, Tony had flown in the best surgeons he knew to remove the disk from my neck so I'd never have to worry about it again. Thankfully, it was a simple procedure so I was able to make a quick recovery. The only proof of there being something wrong was a small bandage that I easily covered with my Midtown High hoodie. Tony knocked on the door, "You ready for school, kid?"

"Yeah, I am."

"You know, believe it or not you can stay home," Tony chuckled.

I smile, "yeah, yeah, but I feel fine! I'm ready to go."

"Okay. Happy's got the car ready then."

"Holy shit!" Ned whispered out once he was caught up with everything. "You're an ex-Hydra spy? That's so awesome!"

I laugh at him while Peter reminds him to keep it down, "If you think so,"

"Oh I know so, I have the coolest friends ever," Ned said amazed.

The student news was playing on a nearby TV, and Betty and Jason awkwardly thanked Spider-Man for saving the day at the memorial. I glance over at Peter and see him smile at his heroics. He looks back at me and I send him a wink before grinning towards him. He leans closer to me and whispers, "You know, I couldn't have done it without you."

"Oh yes you could and you know it," I whisper back, smiling and lightly nudge him.

He grins towards me, lightly shaking his head.

"Dude, what's it like being famous when nobody knows you?" Ned asked Peter.

"Crazy, dude."

"It's crazy. Should we tell everyone?"

"No," Peter and I said in unison.

"Should I tell everyone?"

I laugh as Peter spoke, "No dude, no, that's not a good idea."

I check the time, "Oh! I gotta go, Mj said she wanted to meet up with me before class. It's something about the next decathlon meeting I think? I'll see you later in class!" I quickly turn and walk down the hallway towards the library.

Peter's pov:

I watch (Y/n) turn and walk away, and attempt to hold back a smile. I'm so happy she's okay.

Ned leans into my peripheral view, grinning at me like he's about to fanboy or tease me. I look towards him and chuckle, "what?"

Ned smiles and scrunches his nose a bit, "I see the way you look at her," his happiness could not be contained.

"W-what? I-no, I mean, come on!" I stammer out and begin to laugh with him.

"Alright, alright. Come on, we'll be late to class."

"I'm not going to class."

Ned looked at me confused, "Dude, you're already in so much trouble from ditching the decathlon."

"Just listen, I figured it out, right? The wing suit guy is stealing from Damage Control, and what he takes from Damage Control is what he uses to build those weapons. So all I gotta do is catch him."

"But we have a Spanish quiz. And besides, does (Y/n) know you're going without her? You're not lying to her again, are you?" Ned said, his eyes widening.
