Chapter 23

-Y/N's POV-

Once I got in the house, just like yesterday my mom was here for dinner "Oh Y/n, you're just in time for dinner. Your mom is cooking us dinner tonight. Were you with your friends?" My dad asked

I nodded "Yes Appa." I said

He nodded understandingly "Why don't you change your clothes first before dinner?" he said

I nodded and head upstairs to get changed.

After changing, I went back downstairs for dinner "How was school?" My dad asked while we were having our dinner "It was okay..." I answered "Oh, my friends and I are planning study for exam as a group at the cafe on Saturday. Is it okay if I join them?" I asked "Yes of course!" My dad said

After my dad agreed, I look at my mom "Is it okay?" I asked her

I can tell that she was a bit shocked that I asked her permission even my dad was shocked as well "Of course sweetie!" She said and smiled

I nodded and smiled slightly.

For the first time in a long time, we ate dinner without any argument and just talk about what happened with our day.

-Time skip-

-Changbin's POV-

It was Saturday and we are all getting ready to go to the cafe for the study group. I was just sitting on the couch waiting for the others "Wow Hyunjin, aren't you too dressed for just a study group thing? It's looks like you're dressed for a date." I said once I saw Hyunjin

Hyunjin looked at what his wearing then looked at me with confused on his face "What do you mean Hyung? I always dress like this whenever we go out." He said "Nooo... You usually wear a plain white shirt, sweat pants and sneakers." Jisung said who was sitting on the couch also waiting for the others "See?" I said

Once Chan Hyung came out from his room, he immediately saw Hyunjin "You do know we're just going to study today, right?" Chan said when he saw what Hyunjin was wearing

Jisung and I chuckled while Hyunjin rolled his eyes annoyingly "Whatever..." Hyunjin said before walking away while we continued to laugh.

-End of Changbin's POV-

-Y/N's POV-

I was gathering all my things that I needed for the group study in my room when I heard a knock on my door "Come in." I said

The door opened revealing my mother "Can I talk to you sweetie?" My mom asked

I nodded my head and continued what I was doing but at the same time listening to what my mom has to say "I wanted to give you this..." she said and handed me a wrapped box

I looked at her confused "What is this for?" I asked "Just open it first" she said

I was hesitating if I should but just did what I was told. I ripped off the wrapper and was shocked to see what was in it.

I looked at my mom again "I saw that your phone was broken, I thought of giving you a new phone since I know you need it." She explained

I looked at the box and opened it, indeed there was really a phone in it "Uhmmm, I..." I started but actually didn't know what to say "You didn't have to buy me a new one." I said

My mom smiled sweetly "I wanted too. I know giving you this wouldn't do anything for you to forgive but still, I wanted to give you this." she said

I looked at her still a bit confused "This is too much..." I said

She shook her head "No, you deserve it. I know I wasn't a good mother to you, and I wanted to bring back our relationship like the old times. Would you give me a chance?" She asked "I uhmm..." she stopped me "You don't have to answer it now. I don't want to force you. But, just know that I'm right here. Whenever you need me, I'm just here." She said

I was about to answer when I heard the door bell rang "Y/N, your friends are here to pick you up!" I heard my dad said from down stairs.

My mom smiled "Go ahead.. We can talk again later.." she said

I grab my bag and place the phone inside. I was about to head out my door when I turned to face my mom "Thank you..." I said

She smiled at me before I left my room

Once I down stairs I saw my dad with 8 boys in the living room "I thought were meeting at the cafe?" I asked the boys "Well while walking, we saw your house and decided to check wether you're still here so that we can all walk together."  Seungmin said

My dad walk towards me "Are you guys going home late later?" My dad asked

I glanced at the boys then look at my dad "We might, but we'll try to go home early as possible." I said "Don't worry Mr. Lee, will bring her back safely." Chan said

My dad smiled "Thank you.." he said and looked at me "Just tell me if you will need to go home late. I trust your friends that they will keep you safe." he said

I smiled at my dad "I will dad..." I said before the boys and I head out
