Chapter 3

"Need a hand?" A boy asked.

I wiped away my tears before looking up, I saw a boy I have never met before and giving me a hand.

I accepted his help and dusted off my pants "Are you okay?" he asked.

I nodded "How much did you saw?" I asked, a bit worried that he saw the whole thing "Do you want me to be honest?" he asked back.

I looked at him "You saw the whole thing did you?" He nodded and I sigh "Can you not tell anyone about this, especially the teachers." I said.

He looked at me confused "Why? The thing she did was obviously wrong." he said "Your new here aren't you?" I asked and he nodded.

I chuckled "How many more new students are here?" I asked myself not knowing he heard it "8, including me." he answered.

I looked at him "I'm guessing you're friends with Jisung, Jeongin, Seungmin and Felix? Oh and Hyunjin?" I asked.

He chuckled "Yes." he replied "Are you one of their classmate?" He asked.

I nodded "Well.." I was cut off "Hey hyung!" Jisung who was walking towards us called him "I was looking for you." he said and noticed me "Oh hey Y/N!" Jisung greeted.

I smiled "I'll get going. Nice meeting you....?" wasn't sure what his name is "Changbin." he said "Seo Changbin" he added. 

I smiled to both of them and walked away.

-Time skip-

My last class for the day ended and I gathered my things to start heading out.

When I was about to go out I was stopped by Jisung "Y/N!" He shouted.

I stopped walking and turned around slowly to face the boy. I was a bit surprised and worried since a lot of people heard it "Yes?" I asked.

I can feel glaring eyes looking at me and is making me uncomfortable "Where are you going?" he asked "Home." I said "I thought you have to be somewhere after school?" he asked remembering what I said when Jeongin wanted me to tour them around the campus.

I nodded "And that's home." I replied.

I can see his other friends are walking towards us "Can you stay a little bit longer? I want to introduce you to my friends." he said "Sorry Jisung, but I really have to go home. I still have homework to do." I said.

Jisung pouted "But I thought you hated homework?" he said earning a light smack from Felix "Even though she hates homework doesn't mean she won't do it." Felix said and faced me "Sorry about that, he's just eager to make new friends." he apologized and smiled.

I nodded understandingly "Maybe next Jisung, I really do need to go home right now." I said.

Jisung sighed "Okay fine, but let's hangout tomorrow!" he said.

To be honest, I wasn't sure If I should say yes since Jennie threatened me not to get close to them but seems like this boy won't stop "Fine.." I agreed and saw how this 4 boys infront of me smiled "Okay then, bye Y/N! See you tomorrow!" Jisung said while the others waved.

I gave them a small smile before walking away.

-After 30 minutes-

I start to feel scared and nervous seeing my house. I can hear my father screaming and throwing bottles inside which made me more scared. I made my way inside my house slowly.

Once I opened the door, my father stopped screaming and throwing bottles "Well there you are my lovely daughter." he said looking at me.

I walked in and closed the door "So, how was school?" he asked while walking towards me "I-it was o-okay." I replied "That's good!" he said and slapped me hard that caused me to fall to the ground "Cook me dinner. I'm hungry." he said before going up stairs to his bedroom.

I felt a tear run down my face, what he's doing to me hurts but it hurts more when it's my father that's doing this to me. I stood up and wiped away the remaining tears on my face.

I didn't bother changing before cooking since I didn't want to get beat up again for taking too long to cook.

I prepared him a simple dinner. After cooking, I heard him went out his bedroom "Your dinner is ready dad." I said.

He nodded and sat at the table. I placed his dinner in front of him "I'll be upstairs if you need me." I said and didn't get a response from him.

I just headed to my bedroom and started to change my clothes before doing some homework.

After a couple of hours, I heard my father's bedroom door closed. I went down and see that he has finished eating plus drinking..... again. I decided to wash the dishes and clean up the kitchen a bit. I didn't have an appetite to eat tonight so after cleaning I just went back to my bedroom and continued my homework.
