Chapter 21

-Y/n's POV-

Once I close the door, I can't seem to stop smiling at what Hyunjin said. The boys and I have been getting closer, but something is different when it comes to Hyunjin. I'm not sure if I like as a friend or more than friends. But, to be honest I'm really sure if I'm ready for a more than friends relationship.

My smiled faded when I saw both my parents sitting at the dining area "Oh, you're here..." I said talking about my mom "Well, I wanted to eat dinner with you. So, I decided to come and visit." She said

I just nodded my head "You guys should start eating. I'll follow after I change my clothes." I said "No, it's okay. Will wait for you." my dad said

I nodded my head "Okay then..." I said before walking upstairs to my room.

-Hyunjin's POV-

I was walking and thinking about what I just to her. I actually got surprised when I said that but made me happy when I saw her smiling "Yo! Were have you been?" Chan said

They were waiting for me just a block away "We started to get worried when we noticed that you were not with us." Lee know said "Well they did, I mean I was expecting that you were still with Y/n." Jisung said "Relax Hyung... Jisung is right. I just made sure that she's alright." I explain

The boys glanced at each other "When do you plan to tell her how you really feel?" Lee know asked

I look at him. I was unsure how to answer his question. I really do want to confess to her and let her know how I really feel towards her, but I don't think it's the right time "Don't rush him Hyung...." Changbin said "I was just asking...." Lee know replied "Why don't we go home first before continuing this conversation?" Chan said.

We all nodded and started walking.

-Y/n's POV-

My parents and I were eating dinner. I didn't bother speaking and just ate my food. To tell you the truth, I miss this. I miss eating dinner with both my parents here. But, it's not the same like the old times "Seems like your friends are very nice." My dad said starting a conversation

I nodded my head "They are..." I said "How was your first teaching day Minyoung?" My dad asked my mom "It was okay, the students were very nice." She replied "Actually Y/n and 5 of her friends are one of my students." She added.

My dad nodded understandingly "Really? That's great!" he said "Are we really going to do this?" I asked all of a sudden "Are we really going to act normal like nothing happened?" I added

My dad place his utensils down "Y/n please, can we just have a nice dinner? It's been-" I cut him off "Exactly! It's been years ever since our last family dinner and until now, we don't know why she left us." I said and looked at my mom "Y/n..." my mom started "No... Tell us, why did you exactly left us? Was it because you weren't happy anymore or was it because you don't love us anymore?" I asked "Of course not. I love you and your dad ve-" my said but cut her off "THEN WHAT?!" I said with anger

Both my parents were silent "What? Can't tell me?" I asked

I suddenly stood up "I'm done eating..." I said bringing my plate and placing it in the sink

I walk pass the dining room not giving a single glance to both my parents and just heading upstairs to my room.

-Time Skip-

It's the next day. I woke up early than usual since I wanted to get out at this house as early as possible.

Though once I went down, I saw my mom in the kitchen cooking. When she saw me standing she smiled "Good morning Y/n, your breakfast is ready..." she said with a smiled "No thank you, I have to leave early today." I said "Oh, why don't we go to school together?" she asked while cooking

I sighed "You know why...." I replied

I look at her and saw her disappointed again. I felt a bit of guilt but I was more angry and sad "Do you want me to pack your breakfast so that you can eat it at school?" she asked trying to hide her disappointment.

I looked at the breakfast she made me. It was my favorite pancakes and bacon. Even though she left us for a long time, she still remembers.

Thinking that makes me a bit happy but worried that I might get use to this and maybe she'll leave me again.

I nodded my head "Okay..." I replied and earned a smile from my mom

She looked for a container for her to pack the food with.

After packing the food she gave it to me "Here.." she said handing me the container "Make sure you eat it okay? I don't want you to starve." She added

I look at her, seeing my mom's face again it makes me miss my old life more where we were just happy. I know my mom is back but it's different.

I took the container and nodded "See you at school..." I said before walking out.
