Chapter 8

-Y/n's POV-

School week has ended and I was stuck in the house with my father drinking again "Y/N!" he called for me and I immediately ran down stairs.

When I arrived downstairs, I can multiple cans of beer that are scattered arounf the living room "Yes Appa?" I asked "I'm hungry. Cook me some food and make yourself useful." he said.

I obeyed him and went to the kitchen.

After minutes of cooking, I gave my father the plate "Here Appa." I said and he took the plate and looked at me.

For the first time in years, he looked at me with soft eyes "You know, you look just like your mother." he said and suddenly glared at me "Which I hate it! Get away from my sight before I smack your face!" he said and I went to my room and locked the door.

Tears were streaming down my face "Do you really hate me that much?" I thought to myself. I went to my bathroom looking for my blade. When I finally found it, I look at it "Can you hurt yourself?" I asked myself. I took the blade "Are you that worthless to the point that you can hurt yourself?" a lot of questions are going through your mind. I close my eyes as more tears ran down my face "Why do you have to make my life this hard?" I asked like someone was in my room.

I placed down the blade "Not today Y/N, not today." I said to myself and wiped away my tears.

-Time skip-

Weekend was over and another school week has come.

I came to school early today than usual. I reach my locker and arranged somethings. I look at myself infort of my mini mirror that was placed on my locker door, new bruises on my neck plus a blackeye can be seen. Yes, my father had beat me up yesterday just because he wants too.

I took my concealer and place a bit of make up on my bruises "Making yourself look good for the boys?" a familiar voice said "Not now Jennie." I said without looking at her.

She chuckled "Your lucky I'm not in the mood for you right now. But keep up that sassy attitude of yours and see what I can do to you." She said then walk away go to her friends.

I sighed and finished what I was doing.

I entered the classroom and head straight to my seat. I pulled out my notebook and just drew random things. Drawing makes me relax or atleast a little bit that why I often drew whenever I can "Well your a bit early than usual..." Someone infront of me said that made me look up and saw Felix "Yeah.." I replied "Watcha drawing this time?" he asked while fixing his things on his table. I look at my drawing which I have know idea what it is "Just random stuffs." I replied and he nodded as a response.

After a couple of minutes since Felix entered, his 4 other friends entered as well and smiled at me once they saw me "Hello!" Jeongin greeted happily "Hi." I replied with a slight smile.

They all took their seats and start fixing their things.

After about 30 minutes, a teacher entered "Good morning class!" The teacher started.

The students greeted back while I just continued drawing minding my own world "I have a announcement to make before we start our topic for today." She said.

I closed my notebook and focus at the teacher "This week will be my last week working here. Starting next week, a new teacher has been assigned for this subject so I hope you guys will be nice to her since she is a new teacher here." She said.

We all responded with a YES and started with the topic.

-Time Skip-

After first period has ended my phone vibrated. I took my phone from my pocket and saw that my father is calling me. Before answering the call, I decided to go out from the classroom "Where are you going?" Hyunjin asked noticing me getting up from my sit.

I showed him my phone "Just going to answer this." I said and started walking out. Once I'm at the hallway I answered the call.

-Phone Call-

Y/N: Hello?

Y/Dad: What took you so long to answer my call?!

Y/N: I was in class Appa, I can't answer a call while in class.

Y/Dad: Whatever! I need you home right now!

Y/N: Why? Is there something wrong?

Y/Dad: Well, we are out of everything that I can eat and I need you to do the grocery now!

Y/N: I can't, I still have classes until 5pm.

Y/Dad: WHY JUST CAN'T YOU OBEY MY ORDERS!

At this point, I move the phone a little bit away from my ear.

Y/N: I can't just ditch school Appa, I can do the grocery after school but not now.

Y/Dad: SO YOU'LL JUST LEAVE ME HERE TO DIE IN HUNGER?! HOW CAN YOU BE SO HEARTLESS! DID YOU FORGET THAT I AM STILL YOUR FATHER?!

I sighed, I was getting so stressed out by my father.

Y/N: I just have food deliver to you in awhile. But for now, please wait for the food to arrive.

Y/Dad: Okay then, I want it as soon as possible.

After that, he ended the call without saying goodbye.

-End of Phone Call-

I closed my eyes and leaned on the lockers that were behind me. I let out a stressful breathe before going back in the classroom.
