Chapter 11

-Y/N's POV-

After that incident at the gym, Hyunjin didn't talk that much after and stayed quiet most of the time. I asked the others why but they didn't know as well.

It was lunch time, we all went straight to the roof top while the older once were just on their way. While waiting for the others, I took the chance to ask Hyunjin what his problem was.

At first he said it was nothing "You're quiet than usual Hyunjin." I said "I'm just tired..." he tried lying to me which I didn't buy it "You know I have that talent where I can tell if the person is telling the truth or not." I said "Do you think Irene did it on purpose?" Hyunjin asked.

Even the 3 boys who were talking a while ago were stopped with Hyunjin's question. I do think Irene did it on purpose, I mean I saw her even smirked before she hit the ball. But I didn't want to start anything that could go wrong "It's volleyball, it's normal for people to get hit sometimes." I said "Isn't it weird though that she was aiming it on you?" he asked "We were all watching and saw what happened." he added "It actually looks like she did it on purpose." Jisung said "I mean from our part where we were it really looks like it." he added.

I sighed "I don't know. It doesn't matter anyways, it happened already." I said.

I notice how Hyunjin reacted to what I said, he obviously didn't like what he heard. He was about to speak when the others entered "Well there you guys are! My favorite people!" Minho said once he entered.

There's a awkward moment when they entered which they noticed "You guys seemed weird?" Chan said.

No one spoke even me "What happened?" Changbin asked "We think that Irene hit Y/N on purpose." Felix said "Irene? The one from your class?" Chan asked and Felix nodded in reponse.

"What made you guys think that she did it on purpose?" Minho asked "We were watching the whole thing Hyung, and from where we were watching it really does look like it." Jisung said "Plus, we know that Irene hates Y/N." Jisung added, gained a smack on the head by Felix.

Realizing what he said he immediately apologized "It's true anyways..." I said and got up from where I'm sitting "Excuse me, I'll just go to the restroom real quick." I said.

I notice their guilty face but ignored it and started walking.

-Hyunjin's POV-

"Great job at upsetting her Jisung..." Seungmin said "I said sorry!" Jisung said.

Both of them continued bickering like kids "Can you guys stop that?" I asked annoyingly.

Both of them stopped "What do you think we should do hyung?" I asked Chan since he was the oldest.

The oldest sigh "To be honest, I don't know. We can't just butt in in someone elses fight at least if it gets physical." he said.

"Isn't this physical enough?" I asked "We don't have any proof that she did it on purpose Hyunjin." he replied "For now, we just need to keep an eye on her and on Jennie. Y/N is our friend and I know you guys don't want her getting hurt. Even I don't want that." he added.

I stood up my seat "Where are you going?" Changbin asked "I'm going to look for Y/N." I said.

Before they even ask more question, I started to walk away.

-End of Hyunjin's POV-

-Y/N's POV-

After spending minutes inside the restroom, I finally went out. I don't know why it made me upset that someone could hate me that much even though I didn't do anything at all.

"Is it wrong for me to be happy?" I thought to myself. Tears that I was holding in just came down from my eyes. I was so stressed out and frustrated with whats been happening in my life. "Can I still do this?" Another question popping in my mind.

"Y/N? Are you in there?" I came back to reality after hearing someone calling for me.

I didn't answer "It's me Hyunjin. Just wanted to make sure that you're okay." he said.

I don't know why but hearing his voice made me relax and calm a bit "I'm fine. I just need a minute." I said back.

I wiped away the remaining tears on my face and wash my face gently.

I let out a breathe before heading out. I got out from the restroom and saw Hyunjin leaning on to one of the lockers.

Once he saw me he stood up straight "Hi." he said "Hello." I said back.

He walked closer to me "Were you crying?" he asked noticing my puffy eyes.

I shooked my head "You know, I have this talent that I can tell if someone is lying to me." he said copying what I said to him earlier.

I glared at him and he just chuckled "Sorry, about earlier.." he said now serious.

I smiled "You don't have to say sorry. I didn't get upset with you nor the boys." I said "I just... I just needed to think for a while." I added "About what?" he asked.

Before I answered I looked down "About why people hate me this much..." I said in a low tone but enough for Hyunjin to hear it.

Hearing this made Hyunjin heart break into pieces.

-3rd person's POV-

Hyunjin is starting to have feeling for Y/N. It actually started the day when he first saw her at the roof top and seeing her like this breaks his heart so much. He really didn't know what to say but once he saw a tear dropped from your face, he immediately pulled Y/N and hugged her.

Y/N was shocked about his sudden action but at the same time, she feels that she needed this.

She cried even more and she can feel his hand rubbing her back "It's okay, just let it out." She heard him say "Remember that me and the boys are always here for you. We don't hate you and we can never hate you." he added.

Y/N hugged him back and just cried in his arms tired of everything.
