Chapter 17

Days after your mom returned, a new school week starts. You were lazy to go to school today but you know you have too.

-Y/n's POV-

Surprisingly, I woke up early even before my alarm. I had a really rough weekend and just wanted to get out of this house.

While I was fixing my things for school, I heard a knock from my door "Come in." I said while continuing with what I'm doing.

My door open "Breakfast is ready pumpkin. Make sure you eat before going to school." my father said.

My father and I didn't really talk much after what had happened. I wasn't ready to face him or talk to him. My mom have been visiting during the weekend which was awkward for me but my mom and dad had talked that she should just stay here instead at a hotel. So, starting this week my mom will be returning "I'll just have my breakfast at school. I might get late if I stay here any longer." I said while zipping up my bag "Do you want me to pack you food?" my father ask. I look at him "No need. I'll be buying food in a nearby cafe." I said passing him and heading down stairs.

He followed me downstairs "Do you have enough money? I still money here if you need some." he said.

I smiled at him lightly and shook my head "I'm fine with what I have right now appa." I said earning a nod from him "I have to go to. I'll text you when I'm on my way home later." I added "Okay pumpkin, I love you." My father replied.

I honestly was a bit shock to here that word from him since it's been a long time that I heard that word from him. I look at him and nodded before leaving the house.

- Hyunjin's POV -

"Come on guys! We're going to be late!" Chan said hurrying us all up "Relax Hyung, we still have at least an hour and thirty minutes." Jisung said while walking and eating his sandwich at the same time.

We are currently walking to school which is 15-20 minutes away from our apartment "Well, with the rate that we are going we might be late. Plus, I need to stop by the library before heading to class." Chan said. 

While we are walking I notice a familiar girl at the other side of the street "Isn't that Y/N?" Jeongin said point at the girl "I think so..." I replied not really sure if it's her since her hair was blocking her face "HEY Y/N!" Jisung shouted.

Once she looked at us, Jisung waved at her earning a smile and a wave back from her.

She gestured for us to wait. She looked at the road making sure that there weren't any cars before crossing the street "Hello!" She greeted us "Hi Y/N! On your way to school?" Seungmin asked.

She nodded as an answer "But I'll be stoping by the cafe before heading to school. Guys wanna join?" She asked.

We looked at each other "I'm in!" Jeongin "Same here!" Jisung added.

Jeongin, Felix, Jisung, Seungmin and I ended up going with Y/n while Chan, Lee know and Changbin went straight to school since they need to finish up something before classes starts "So, how was your weekend Y/n?" Felix asked.

I looked at her and made eye contact with her but she immediately looked away "It's fine. Nothing interesting happened to be honest." She said "How about you guys? How was your weekend?" She asked back.

"Well, we just played video games and also did some homeworks." Felix answered.

We continued walking and talking at the same time.

We all entered the cafe once we arrived. Y/N went straight to the counter "Oh hi there Y/N!" The person behind the counter greeted "Hello Jackson!" She greeted back "Been a while since you last came here." He said.

Seems like she has been a regular here since he knows her name "Yeah, been busy with school stuff..." She answered and the guy named Jackson nodded while a smile "Do you want your usual or do you want to try something else?" He asked "I'll have my usual and..." She stopped and looked at us "Do you guys want anything? It's on me." She asked.

We shook are heads since we had our breakfast before leaving but "and  5 hot chocolate, tall." She said.

Once he finished ordering and paying we head to the next counter and waited "You guys should try their hot chocolate, it's actually really good." She said "Do you often come here before school?" I asked.

She nodded "Though I seldom come here now." She replied "How come?" I asked.

She shrugged her shoulders "Been busy I guess plus a lot has been going on lately." She said.

I was curious to what has been going on and was about to asked but stopped when someone called her name "6 tall hot chocolate and a ham sandwich for Y/n!" A guy said "Thanks Mark!" She said.

The guy smiled and looked at us "Your friends?" He asked.

Y/n looked at us before she nodded "This is actually the first time you brought along your friends." Mark said "Hi I'm Mark!" He said.

One by one we introduced our selves "Nice to meet you guys! Though I have to get back to work. Nice seeing you again Y/N, hopefully you come by more often." He said "I'll try but can't promise..." She said and laughed a bit. Mark laughed a bit as well.

After the cafe, we all went to school together while still talking about random stuff. But I can't seem to get rid of that Mark guy out of my mind. He seemed to close with Y/n and it bothers me "You okay?" Y/n asked "You seemed a bit quiet again." she added.

I nodded "I'm okay, just enjoying this drink you bought for us." She smiled at me "It's good right?" she asked and nodded again "Thank you for treating us, you didn't have to thought." Currently the other boys were in front of us having their own conversation "Well, it can be my thank you for saving me for a lot of times." she said.

I chuckled "You know, no matter how many times you get into fights or someone bothers you we'll be always here to save you." I said and saw her smile.

Seeing her smile makes my heartbeat beat fast, she is so beautiful. I just wish I can see her smile like this always.
