Chapter 25

-Mark's POV-

I looked at Y/n who was heading out the cafe with Hyunjin. I didn't know that she was still being bullied by Jennie.

I actually also know about her father abusing her but the last time she came her, she told me that her mom is back and that her dad has stop abusing her "Hyung, will Y/n be okay?" One of Y/n's friend asked

I looked at to where Y/n and Hyunjin were before nodding my head "She will be.." I said before looking at them "To be honest, I was shocked to see Y/n having friends from school since she never bring any friends here. I know she will be okay since she has you boys now." I added "Were we the first friends that she had brought here hyung?" Jisung asked

I nodded my head "She has been through a lot, but it's not my story to tell." I said

The boys nodded there head understandingly "Can I ask you boys a favor?" I asked

They glanced at each other before nodding their heads "Promise me to protect her and not hurt her, okay?" I said

The boys nodded but has the look that I know "Just so you know, I don't like her like what you boys are thinking. I've know here for years and I've been having this feeling that I should protect her like a little sister. But since I'm stuck here, at least she has you boys now." I said

The boys smiled and nodded

After talking for minutes, I left them to head back to work.

-Y/n's POV-

Hyunjin and I were walking quietly. We went to a nearby park just to get some air. While walking I can feel Hyunjin glancing at me from time to time "Can we sit down for a while?" I asked seeing a beach at the side "Yeah, sure." He said 

Once we sat down I let out a sigh "Sorry about earlier..." I started

Hyunjin looked at me "Stop saying sorry Y/n. You have nothing to be sorry about." He said "I'm tired Hyunjin...." I said while looking up the sky "Do you want to go home?" He asked not knowing what I meant

I shook my head no "Did I do something?" I asked out of the blue "You didn't. You didn't do anything wrong." He said "Then why do I need to suffer like this?" I asked while tears rolling down my face "I'm tired emotionally and physically and I just want it all to stop..." I added

At this point, I couldn't stop my tears from falling. Every emotions that I have been keeping inside was just too much right now "How do I make it stop Hyunjin? How?" I asked broken and sad

Hyunjin looked at me with a worried look. Without any word, he suddenly pulled me gently and hugged me "Let it all out Y/n, just let it all out. I know you have keeping this emotions and trust me, letting it out is better than keeping it in into yourself." He said "We're here Y/n, you got me and the boys. You can trust and talk to us." He added "I'm scared. What if you guys regret being friends with because I bring nothing but trouble?" I said "There's nothing to be scared about Y/n. That won't happen." He said

I let go of him and look at him with sad eyes. He wiped away my tears and looked at me with caring eyes

I do feel like that I can trust him. Trust him and the boys "Are you feeling better?" He asked once I have calm down "A little..." I said

He smiled slightly and looked around "Wait here, I'll be back." he said before leaving

I looked at him confused but let him go to where he is heading

After a few seconds he came back with 2 ice cream cones in his hands "This is one of my favorite comfort food whenever I'm sad." He said while giving me one

I took it then he sat back down "I hope it helps you feel better too.." he added

I looked at the ice cream then at him who was already enjoying his ice cream

I took a bit of my ice cream and smiled "Thank you Hyunjin..." I said with a smile

Hyunjin smiled "If I get to see that smile by buying you ice cream, I'll be willing to buy you ice cream everyday just to see that smile of yours.." he said

I cringed and chuckled "Oh stop..." i said while both of us laughed "But seriously, thank you.. You and the boys have been there for me all the time even though you guys don't have too.." I added "You're right... We don't have too, but we want too. You're our friend and we don't want anything bad happening to you..." he said

I smiled "Why don't we get back at the cafe? I know the boys are getting worried." I said

Hyunjin nodded and both of us got up and started walking to head back to the others.
