-Y/n's POV-

"Noona" I heard Jeongin call me "What is it this time?" I asked as my eyes are focused on my homework. The younger ones go to me whenever something happens or their hyungs tease them which is cute but at the same time a bit stressful "Han Hyung is teasing me again" Jeongin said "What is he saying?" I asked as he stayed quiet. I look at him and waited for his answer "I'm embarrassed to say it" he said as I slightly smiled "Yah, stop bothering her" Chan slightly scold Jeongin as he pouted and walked to Minho

I was actually getting even more stressed out with this homework. It's lunch break and I'm taking this time to finish this since I completely forgot about this last night "Need help?" Hyunjin asked me who was sitting beside me "I" I started but stopped and looked at him "I'm fine" I continued and focus back on my homework as I sighed "Are you sure? Because it's almost..." I sighed once again making him stop "Okay fine, I need help" I said as he smiled

"Thanks for helping me. I owe you one." I said as we finished my homework "Just a coffee with me and we're good" he said making me surprised and so as the others "What?" I asked, "Dude, that's not how you ask a girl on a date." Changbin said making me even more surprised "A date?" I said "W-what?" Hyunjin said in surprise as well "I-it's not a date hyung" he said before looking at me "It's not a date" he said again "It's just a you and I hangout" he added before the boys chuckle "In short, a date" Han teased making Hyunjin glare at him "Yah yah yah, that's enough" I said, "Is after school okay with you?" I added making Hyunjin surprise "I guess that's a no?" I joked since I didn't get a response from him "Yes" he said and I look at him confused. He realized what he just said "No no. I mean." he said trying to explain "I mean, after school is okay with me" he said as he calm himself "Okay then" I said before I started eating.

Time skip...

"Can't I come?" Han asked wanting to come with me and Hyunjin "No, you will only have me buy something" Hyunjin said making Han sulk "This isn't a date right? So basically I can come with" Han defended making me chuckle "Han come on. Let Y/n and Hyunjin have their time alone" Chan said making the younger one pout "Fine. Just buy me a muffin then we're good" Han said to Hyunjin "When did we even have a problem?" Hyunjin asked confused but Han ignored him and went to me "Message or call us if Hyunjin does something crazy" Han said as I chuckled "I will" I said as the others said their goodbyes "Have fun" Chan said to the both of us "But, not too much fun" he added teasingly making Hyunjin sigh while I chuckled

"What are you getting?" I asked Hyunjin once we got in a cafe "Getting my iced americano. How about you?" he asked back "Well, I haven't been here before. What do you recommend?" I asked since Hyunjin decided to bring me to a cafe that he often visits "Their caramel macchiato here is good" he suggested "Then I'll try that" I said making Hyunjin nod "Go ahead and find us a table. I'll order for us." he said as I did what I was told.

The cafe was kinda packed but lucky, I found a vacant table with 2 chairs. I sat on one of the vacant chairs and waited for Hyunjin. While waiting, my eyes wander around the cafe. The cafe vibes are very relaxing and very beautiful as well. But that vibe was cut short when I saw a very familiar person "Mom?" I said to myself. She was with a guy and 2 children. She looks very happy with them and even treats the 2 kids like her own kids. What even broke me is how her actions were toward the guy.

"Here's your iced caramel macchiato" I jumped a bit as I heard Hyunjin "Woah, you okay?" he asked "You seemed preoccupied." he said "Ah yeah, sorry... I guess I'm just tired." I lied since Hyunjin doesn't know about my mom "Oh, do you want to head home already? We can just have coffee again some other time." he said as I shook my head "No no, it's okay. I'm not that tired anyway. Plus, I don't feel like going home yet." I said knowing that I'll just be alone overthinking when I'm home. Hyunjin sat down in front of me as he takes a sip of his coffee "Is everything okay at home?" he asked "Ah yeah, it's just that I know that my dad will be home late today and I'm not comfortable being alone." I said. I noticed how his expression changed "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked like he knows that there was something going on "Talk about what?" I asked, "I'm guessing that there's something going on that's why you're not comfortable being alone?" he said but as usual, I'm not the type of person who shares my feelings "No, nothing is going on." I said "Is just that... I watched a scary movie last night and it kinda scared me." I added as I chuckled slightly at my makeup story. Hyunjin smiled "I can relate, horror movies can be scary." he said, "But anyways, how are you since you started attending our school?" I asked changing the subject "Well, you know, school is school but the best thing is I get to know new people." he said "I mean, the boys and I have been friends for years and never got separated since then and I'm thankful for that. But, you know, meeting new friends is nice too especially when they get along well which the boys." he explained, "Well, you guys aren't hard to get along with." I said, "I've been going to our school for quite a while now and I haven't met anyone like you guys." I honestly said "It's actually nice to have friends at school. You know, just knowing that you have people waiting for you at school, eating lunch with someone or even just going home with a group of friends, it's actually new to me." I added "Get used to it. Once you're friends with us, there's no turning back" Hyunjin said making both of us laugh.
