Chapter 28

-Y/n's POV-

Once I got home, I can't stand but think about what happened. I can't believe that Jennie would do something like that to me "Oh hey sweetie, you're home" I heard my dad said, "Hi Appa, what time did you get home?" I asked "An hour ago, are you hungry? I'll cook us dinner" he said "Uhmm yeah sure" I said "I'll just change my clothes" I added before heading to my room to change my clothes

"So, how was school today?" my dad asked as we eat dinner "It was okay" I simply said not wanting my dad to know what has been happening with me in school "Is mom not visiting?" I asked, usually we eat dinner with her lately "She has a faculty meeting tonight at your school. Didn't she tell you?" he said as I shook my head "I know I haven't asked you this ever since your mom is back but, how are you feeling that she's back?" he asked. To be honest, I don't know how I should feel "Are you happy that she's back?" I ask him back "To be honest, I am" he replied "Then as long as you're happy, I'm happy" I said making my dad smile a bit "I just don't want you don't get hurt again and..." I stop "Just promise me you won't be that abusive and drunk dad that you've been for how many years. I'm happy that the happy, caring, and loving dad that I knew is back and I don't want to lose him again." I continued "I'm sorry for being a bad father to you Y/n. I was so selfish to think about myself when I should be thinking about you too. I am so sorry." my dad said making me tear up "It's okay Appa. What's past is past, let's just all start again" I said hoping that this time we can be a happy family again

-Hyunjin's POV-

"Do you think Noona will still talk to us?" Jeongin asked "I mean she looks so sad and disappointed earlier before she left" he added "I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to react that way earlier" Chan hyung said. Honestly, I'm not mad at Chan hyung is just that I don't see why he wouldn't believe Y/n "Don't worry, I'll talk to her again tomorrow" Chan hyung added. I sighed "I'll be in my room" I said as I stood up from the couch and headed to my room just wanting to be alone

Time skip...

I was laying in bed when suddenly got a message. I immediately sat up from my bed when I saw Y/n's name

-Text message-

Y/N: Hi Hyunjin. Sorry about earlier, I shouldn't have left like that. Just so you know, I'm not angry with any of you. I guess I was just overwhelmed by what happened. I'm sorry.

To be honest, Y/n shouldn't be apologizing. I mean, I understand why she reacted that way I just hope that she's okay 

H: Hey! It's okay. You shouldn't be apologizing. We understand. How are you btw?

Y/N: I'm better, thanks for earlier too

H: Thank you for what?

Y/N: Thank you for believing in me

H: You don't have to thank me. I believe you cause I know you're telling the truth. I mean it when I say that I'm always here for you.

Y/N: Thanks again and I'll see you guys tomorrow at school

H: Of course, we'll see you tomorrow, Good night! 

Y/N: Good night Hyunjin

I closed my phone as I smiled, I'm a bit relieved that she isn't mad at us but still worried about what would happen next. Knowing Jennie, she wouldn't stop until she gets what she wants.

"Y/n noona!" I heard someone say while I was busy getting something from my locker. I turned around and saw the boys walking towards me "Hello" I said giving them a slight smile before looking at Chan who I can see feels awkward "Chan?" I called his attention and he immediately look at me "Can I talk to you?" I asked as he slowly nodded. We step a bit away from the others "About yesterday" I started and was about to continue when Chan beat me to it "Look, I'm sorry for how I reacted yesterday. I should've listened to your side first before believing what Jennie told me. I didn't give you a chance" he said "I hope you're not angry to me or to any of us and remain friends" he added as I smiled "I wasn't angry Chan. Yes, I was sad but I can't blame you for believing what Jennie had said. We have only known each other for a couple of months, and I'm also sorry for walking away just like that" I said "I was just scared that you guys might think differently about me" I added "I'm really am sorry Y/n" Chan apologized "I'm sorry too" I replied as I gave him a slight smile "We're good?" he asked as I nodded
