Chapter 16

-Hyunjin's POV-

The boys and I got home, I couldn't think of anything else but what just happened. I totally regret saying those words to her and I really want to apologize to her.

I was so focused in my thoughts when my phone rang. I sighed and looked at my phone. I saw a couple of numbers but still answered.

-Phone call-

HJ: Hello? Who's this? (I started.)

???: Hello? (The caller said)

I heard some sniffles before I began to speak again.

HJ: Hi, may I know who's this? (I asked again.)

???: Hyunjin, it's Y/n. (She replied.)

I was shock that she called but became worried when I heard her crying.

HJ: Are you okay? Where are you? (I asked worriedly)

Y/n: I'm at home.

HJ: Are you okay? What happened?

Y/n: I'm okay. Can I talk to you for a couple of minutes? I just need to talk to someone right now.

HJ: Of course! Do you wanna talk about it?

Y/n: Hmm, can we talk about something else?

HJ: Sure, I'm sorry by the way about what I said to you earlier. I didn't mean it I just-

Y/n: It's okay Hyujin. I should be the one who should say sorry. You guys were just helping me and instead of thanking you guys I got angry.

HJ: You were just protecting us and I should understand that. But can you let us protect you as well? I lknow you don't want us to get hurt but we don't want you to get hurt as well.

Y/n: I'm sorry. I'm just not used to someone standing up for me and I feel that I should be responsible if someone hurts you or one of you.

HJ: Hey, we chose to stand up for you and help you. You didn't force us to do that. We had a choice to leave you or help but we chose to help you and will always help you.

Y/n: I'm sorry...

HJ: Stop saying your sorry... If I shouldn't say sorry, you shouldn't too since you didn't do anything okay?

I heard her chuckled a bit which made me smile.

Y/n: Thank you for making me feel better everytime I feel-

She stopped "Y/n, are you okay? You've been in your room for quite awhile now." a woman said gently.

Y/n: I got to go Hyunjin. Thanks again. See you at school.

HJ: Anytime Y/n... See you at school. (I said before we ended the call.)

-End Of Phone Call-

I placed down my phone and smiled like a crazy person but soon faded when you remembered how she was crying when you started the call.

I wondered what happened. Was is about the fight the she and Jennie had earlier? Or was it something else?

I wanted to know what it was but I know I shouldn't force her. I sighed and laid back down on my bed.

-End of Hyunjin's POV-

-Y/n's POV-

"Y/n, are you okay? You've been in your room for quite awhile now." a woman said behind your door.

I felt a little bit better after that phone call with Hyunjin. I didn't know why I had the urge to call him but I did and I'm glad I did "I'm okay, i'll be down in a minute." I said and stood up from the floor.

-Time Skip-

After the talk with my dad and mom, it didn't make me feel better. My mom left to stay at a hote since she wasn't sure if it's best if she stays here right now. I thought after listening to her, I'll be feeling better or feel like everything is going back to normal since my mom is back, but I'm wrong.

I can't accept the reason why she left us. I suffered a lot after she left. My life has been a mess ever since she left and now she's back. I should be happy but how come I'm not?

"Y/n?" my father said standing outside my room.

I looked at him and waited what he wanted to say "Can I talk to you?" he asked.

I sighed and nodded. My dad entered my room and sat beside me "I know everything right now is a shock to you, to be honest I am too. But I wanted to tell you that everything will be okay plus since your mom is back, everything will be back to normal." he said.

Hearing him said that, those was the words that I wanted to hear him say when mom left. But that totally not happened, even though only my mother left I felt like both my parents left me since my dad didn't care about me.

I chuckled and shooked my head slightly "Now you're saying this? You have no idea what I felt or what I've been through through out the years after everything that had happened. And now mom is back, you're saying that everything will be okay or everything will be back to normal?" I stood up "What were you doing when she left?!" I asked and he looked at me guilty "What? Couldn't say anything?" I contiued "Do you think I'll forget everything that you have done to me just because mom is back?! Just like that?!" I shouted, releasing everything that I have been keeping to myself.

Once again, tears has started running down my eyes. I know I shouldn't shout at my dad like that but I just couldn't keep it to myself anymore.

-3rd person's POV-

After hearing what you said your father looked at you with guilt in his eyes.

He's guilty not just because he physically hurt his own daughter but also he was only thinking about himself and forgot about how you felt. He didn't know what to say. He knows that sorry will not fix everything that he have done "If you don't have anything to say, you may leave. I have a lot of homeworks to finish." You said and went to your desk.

He sighed and just did what you told him.
