"So when are you inviting this mystery man over? I'd love to meet the person that is carrying my grand child" my dad said

"Dad it's still too soon. I want him to be more comfortable with me first. Neither of us expected this to happen and I don't want to mess it up" I replied

"I understand. So tell me about him, what if he's a jerk that tries to use the child for his benefit?" My dad questioned

"Yes tell us about him" mom said happily

"He is anything but a jerk. He's so sweet. When we met I was taken a back. He's for these big beautiful brown, Almost like a deer. He has his beautiful smile. His laugh is just perfect. He's so funny at least I think he is, his friends don't understand his humor, but he's also very shy and he's just wow." I said remembering some of the conversations we had through text

My parents laughed

"He's 27. He has a master's degree in marine biology and works as one at the aquarium. His cravings include spicy foods and egg salad. Oh and he likes penguins."

"So he's beautiful?" My mom laughed. I was confused until I looked at near by mirror and saw that I had been blushing

"Don't make fun of the poor boy. It's been like 5 years since the whole Lewis fiasco" dad choked in

"Hey don't mention that devil in my house! How dare that man leave our son in his time of need because he didn't went to be with a "poor" man. Ugh now i feel like this air is contaminated. I'll have my shaman come over later to do a cleanse of the house. " Mom half yelled while being very serious

"Can we not bring him up. Plus I'm seeing Oliver today and I don't want to have any negative feelings" I said

"Oliver that's such a cute name. What about his family? Will we get to meet them too" mom asked

I opened up about how Oliver was orphaned at 11 and began living with his best friends family at the time. I told her about his friend Levi, Robbie and Andy.

What I wasn't prepared for was for my mom to sort through her library and hand me 4 male on male erotic novels, one of them being about werewolves, she ended up asking me to get the Andrew Reynolds to sign her copies.

There's some things a son doesn't needs to know about his mother, and this is one of those things.

Dad heard the name Robbie Reynolds and he immediately wanted to schedule a meeting because he wants Robbie's family to be the face of our new vacation hotel that caters specifically to parents and children.

And of course mom brought up the cowboy. Apparently she and Ben's mom were gossiping about who the mysterious man was. She tried to her more information out of me but I honestly had nothing to offer.

"Okay okay I'll ask Andy and Robbie. Now please I have to get going. I'm picking Oliver up so that we can see the babies. He's 12 weeks now"

"Theodore Xavier Lexington, what do you mean babies? I thought only one egg took" mom said

"Oh well one egg did take. He had one male and one female embryo implanted. Only one egg survived the transplant but it ended up splitting. Oliver is pregnant with identical twins but it's too soon to tell if they're boys or girls" I explained

"Wow. Well you better treat that boy right. The last thing we need is for you to mess up and cause him stress. If my grandchildren suffer because of you I'll cut you off from the family fortune" Dad scolded me, as if I was a child

I left their brownstone and made my way to Oliver's place.

Oliver

"So how are you feeling? Are the babies giving you any trouble" Theo asked while we waited for Dr. Shultz in the exam room

"I'm good. I've been dealing with little bit of heart burn but that's because these babies like spicy foods" I laughed

"I'm sorry about the heart burn. But I'm happy that the babies are taking after me. I love spice" he laughed

"Thanks for coming with me. I know this is still all so weird" I said

"I won't deny that. But thanks for letting me join. This means so much to me" he smiled

When Dr. Shultz came in the room she gave me a sympathetic look. After I met Theo for the first time, another couple dealing with a sperm mix up went to the press and now everyone knows since it's front page news.

Since I am considered a victim of the class action lawsuit the lawyer contacted her with my consent.

I'm still grateful for these babies but IVF, the egg storage fee, and these appointments are expensive.   If they could compensate the cost at least that would be great.

I still needed to figure out a way to tell Theo that I fertilized more than two eggs. He deserved to know. What if he wanted more kids?

"Hi there I'm Dr. Shultz. You must be the children's father" she said politely.

"Yes. Thank you for making sure that Oliver and the babies are healthy"  he replied

"Alright let's get a look at these babies"

As Dr. Shultz maneuvered the ultrasound wand on my stomach I couldn't help but gaze at Theo. This man was holding my hand and had tears in his eyes. His smile span from ear to ear and he looked so proud as he watched our babies wiggle on screen.

It was still too early to feel movement but seeing the twins move around made me happy. It made it more real. Yes I know I pregnant and that I have a growing belly but actually seeing my babies move around made everything seem real.

"So how many copies do you want?" She asked

"Four for me and then some for Theo" I replied

"I can have a picture?" He asked almost not believing the statement

"Yeah one for you and I assume your parents and cousins would want a copy. These are your babies too so I want you to have a copy"

"Wow. Thank you! I'm going to have a copy displayed on my work desk" he smiled

"So everything looks great. Your blood pressure is normal. The urine sample we did early shows no signs of protein which is good and your HCG levels are at 600,000 which tells me that your body is producing more than enough hormones to sustain a healthy pregnancy. You've gained 6lbs since the start of your pregnancy. Do either of you have questions?"

I didn't have any but I felt my heart flutter when Theo chimed in.

"I know Oliver is on a prenatal vitamin but I was wondering if there are any other supplements that you recommend. I don't want him to miss out on important nutrients since it seems all our babies want is egg salad" he laughed

"That's actually a good question. Supplemental shakes that are low in sugar are great. I know morning sickness can cause an aversion to certain foods, so these shakes will allow for a more balanced diet" She explained

Wow I wasn't expecting him to asked that. I smiled at the thought of him caring about me. We've known each other for 3 and a half days so we're still getting use to all of this.

It's nice to know that he cares about my well-being as well as the well being of the kids
