"Are you sure that you want to do this? You're still young, you have time to find the right guy and settle down" my best friend Andrew said

"Andy I know this is unconventional, but I know that this is what I want. I'm sick of dating and then having my heart broken. I just want a baby. And this is the best way to get what I want and I don't have to deal with anyone else. No dealing with bitter exes or fighting in court for full custody. I'll just be me and my baby." I replied

"As your best friend, and your favorite brother, I'm not going to judge you. If you're sure about this then I'll support you 100% but under one condition of course." he smirked

"What's the condition?" I asked with a raised eyebrow

"You make Robbie and I the god parents" he laughed

Andrew and I have been friends since we were 6 years old. We did everything together and were basically brothers.

During the worst day of my life, just 3 months after my birthday my parent's died in a car crash after being hit by a drunk driver.

My only living family members were my grandparents but both sets were too old to properly care for me. I was going to be sent to a foster home a few hours away and after crying to my best friend, he told his parents about what was happening with me.

Without hesitation, Andy's parents adopted me. Mr. and Mrs. Jones had always treated me just like their own.

After Andy was born they couldn't have anymore kids so when he asked if I could live with them, they were more than delighted to have another child under their roof. if it weren't for their love for me who knows where i would have ended up.

Andy and I ended up going to the same middle and high school. We even decided to go to the same college together. We lived about an hour away from a top rated university so it was far enough to where we can be independent but also close enough to visit and do laundry on the weekends at home.

College was where we met Robbie. We were assigned a group project so for a whole semester we had to met 3 times a week. We were skeptical at first with being friends with him because he was this stereotypical 6'2" 220 pound college football jock and Andy and I were tiny 5'7" nerdy looking guys barely pushing 130lbs.

We were bullied in high school by guys that looked at lot like Robbie so we were very hesitant to be friends with him. Despite our obvious differences we all became good friends. Eventually those two hit it off relationship wise and I basically saw Robbie as another brother.

I will admit that they were so cute together, definitely a bit freaky because I have walked in on then doing some out of this world sexual stuff, but even with that they were still cute. I would joke around and call them "Randy" whenever they were together. But like every couple even they had their share of break ups.

The break ups only ever lasted like a week each time but it still hurt to see how sad they both were, thankfully they realized how stupid they were and they always got back together.

A few months before our graduation Andy found out he was 5 weeks pregnant.

He was scared shitless because he had just turned 22 years old and thought Robbie would up and leave him to be a single dad since he was set to go to the NFL.

Robbie was being scouted by every NFL team so it wasn't guaranteed that he would even stay in state. Andy thought there was no way a man with that good of a future would throw it away for a baby and a college boyfriend.

After breaking the pregnancy news to Robbie, he was excited. Like over the moon excited. Robbie told anyone who would listen to him that he was going to be a dad. He was so proud that he was going to have a baby. He even found some way to bring up the baby in almost every conversation he had.
