The show had ended.
Their time was up.
“Why are you not crossing over? You’re meant to be crossing over!” Y/N pretty much screamed at the boys, running up to Reggie and holding his face, then moving to Alex and repeating her actions. She moves to do the same with Luke but their eyes met, both filled with tears.
“It’s too late Y/N” Luke admits, hand reaching out to touch her face but is stopped as they are hit with an extremely painful jolt sending all 3 of them tumbling to the floor.
Just as Y/N, bends down to help them up, she herself is hit with a jolt sending her falling forwards, almost crushing Alex, who catches her before she does.
“Guess we’re all going together huh?” She laughs out lightly trying to lighten the mood, as she sits down next to Alex, attempting to catch her breath. Guess her father stuck to his promise. Her main concern now was what was happening to Willie.
“And to think that I thought this was heaven” Luke chuckles, hand reaching for Y/N’s.
“Heaven? Hahaha no love, this is hell! I could have told you that from the start”. Y/N confesses as she is pulled into Luke’s chest, where he holds her close.
“We should probably go somewhere else, cause Julie is gonna come in here when she gets home and she needs to believe we crossed over.” Alex points out, just as they are hit with another jolt.
"Alex is right." Y/N admits, agreeing with the blonde.
"Yeah but we have nowhere else to go and she will probably be tired after the gig and go straight to bed anyways" Luke reasons.
Jolt after jolt continue to hit the 4 of them weakening them with each blow. Soon the 4 of them end up led on the ground, losing all the strength they have to hold their own bodies up. Moving rooms was no longer an option anymore even if they did have somewhere to go.
Darkness took over the studio as the 4 ghosts lay on the floor waiting for their after lives to end. Just then Julie’s voice echoes around the garage.
“I...I know I already said this but, uh...thank you, guys.”She stutters out, emotion over taking her voice.
“You're welcome.” Reggie croaks out, ruining their plan and causing the others to groan at him.
“Dude!”
The light in the garage turns on and the 4 ghosts attempt to sit up, using pieces of furniture to assist.
“Why... Why are you here? I... I thought…” Julie stutters out, shocked that they were still on this side.
Another jolt hits them, and they all groan in pain.
“No... no! I thought you crossed over! Why didn't you cross over?” Julie questions, tears running down her cheeks.
“I guess playing the Orpheum wasn't our unfinished business.” Alex admits
“Point Caleb.” Reggie comments
“We wanted you to think that we crossed over, so we pretended to. We just… We had nowhere else to go.” Luke confesses, helping Y/N stand up. “We thought you'd go straight to bed.”
“Yeah, well, I knew she was gonna come out here, but nobody ever listens to me.” Alex mutters under his breath.
Another jolt goes rocketing through their bodies, causing even more tears to stream down their faces and their bodies to become weaker.
“You have to save yourselves right now. Go join Caleb's club. Please. It's better than not existing at all. Please just go. Go! Poof out! Do something! Please. Do it for me.” Julie pleads.
