Hailee's POV
I turned to face Y/N who was staring at me with her mouth gaping open, causing me to let out a chuckle.
"Better close your mouth before you catch a fly." I say.
"What the heck just happened? Did you just get me a record deal?"
"If you haven't forgotten, you did just win the premiere singing competition in North America as part of my team. So yes, I did get you signed to a label Y/N/N." She quickly embraces me in a large hug.
"Thank you so much Haiz. I mean it."
"No thank you for showing me what it means it stand up for something you believe in, in more ways than one." I say, connecting my lips with hers. I felt like I was in heaven for the first time since leaving Shawn until the fricking door bell decided to ruin the moment. We looked at each other in confusion, knowing Nikki said to keep a sharp eye out.
"Okay then, I'll get the door while you two lovebirds stare at one another." Meg says while sticking her tongue out playfully at us.
Meagan's POV
I make way towards the door as I couldn't bear watching go at it again. It's just too much for my young eyes to handle. I slowly open the door to reveal a young man in a Canada Post uniform holding a package out to me.
"I have a delivery here for Ms. Yanofsky?"
"Oh thank you. I'll just take it for her as she's not home at the moment." I say smiling.
"Alright ma'am, I just need you to sign for her." I grab the clipboard and quickly sign the sheet before handing it back to the man. He nods and quickly heads off to his truck. I shut the door and carry the parcel in to the living room where Hailee and Y/N had resumed eating each other's heads off. I cleared my throat to get their attention.
"Oh hey, sorry we didn't hear you come back. Who was it?" Hailee asks sheepishly causing me to giggle.
"I can see that. It was just a postman, dropping off a package for Nikki. I'm just surprised she didn't mention she had a package coming today. It would have been nice to get a heads up or something." I say. The happy couple nod as I set it down on the coffee table.
"Yeah, that is a bit odd. Perhaps it just slipped her mind?" Y/N suggests.
"I suppose. Anyways, who's up for a movie?" I ask. Both of them nod before I reach for the TV remote to switch on the large TV to see what was on. To no one's surprise, a hockey game was playing. I switch over to the Apple TV input and use Netflix to put on Moulin Rouge causing Hailee to smile widely. By the time the movie ended, we were all starving and decided to get some lunch. Much to my surprise, not only was Hailee an amazing singer, she was also an amazing cook. Despite everything going smoothly, I just couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong.
"I'm just going to go take a nap. I'll catch you later." I say before retiring up to my bedroom.
Y/N's POV
I gave a quick wave to my bestfriend as she headed upstairs to rest. She's had a long couple of days and I wish I didn't have to drag her in to this mess. After doing the dishes with the girl I love, we chose to spend some time on the balcony and enjoy the fresh air. The peace and serenity was short lived as there came a loud crashing noise from the main foyer causing us both to turn around in shock.
"What was that?" Haiz asks.
"I have no idea. Stay here, I'm going to go check." I say. She gives me a quick squeeze of my hand before allowing me to head inside. Once there, I quickly round the corner to catch a glimpse of the main entrance and what I saw shook me to my core. Two men in ski masks had their guns pointed at me.
