chapter 11- the kids

Rossi hands you a file, two more kids have gone missing. Your heart just aches for them. You decided you need a fresh air and walked outside. You pull your phone out of your pocket

She was probably busting taking care of henry, you are glad you guys are friends again and that one little incident didn't ruin your friendship. You here the door open behind you. It's rossi. "Hey there kiddo" "Hey rossi" you smile at him placing your phone back into your pocket. "So you and the kids are just friends I hear?" Oh shit, he must of heard you talking to luke. Well you weren't lying, you didn't know what you were. But you loved him. "I mean yeah i guess we are you friends" you frown slightly. That's when you hear the door open again, It's spencer. He must of heard you. He turned around and went to leave . "Spencer wait" and the door slams. "Well i think you two need some talking to do." rossi leaves also. Son of a bitch.

You sigh and walk back into the station. You enter the room with the rest of your team while hotch is talking. "The girl is 16 and the boy is 12, We have a little under 6 hours to find them, or we will be looking for the body. It's time to deliver the profile." He nods at you as you leave the room, the rest of the team following.
You clear your throat before talking- "We believe the unsub is a white male in is late twenties to early thirty's, he has an obsession to fire, but not one big enough to land him in trouble." You look at Derek to continue and as he talks you notice Reid stare at you, with pain in his eyes, you mouth "i'm sorry" and he just turns around. After delivering the rest of the profile you get interrupted by a police officer. "Miss y/l/n" "Agent y/l/n" you corrected him while looking at the files. "Right sorry, i think i know someone like that. His name is Jeffrey Miller, I arrested him a while back for trying to burn an old building down." "Thank you officer I will look into it." You then call over Emily and explain Jeffrey Miller. You calls up Garcia and have her look into it. He has been arrested for attempted kidnapping and trying to burn down three separate buildings. Garcia speaks over the phone
"This has to be our guy" "Can you send his address to us" "Already did my blonde barbie" "Thanks Garcia" you chuckle.

You inform the team about Jeffrey Miller and you head out. And your car is hotch, reid and derek. Hotch is driving and you beg Derek to let you sit in the front before leaving. "No no babygirl you need to talk to pretty boy, he looks pretty upset" "Ughhh but derekkkk" "Let's go" You sit in the back with him and everytime you try to make conversation he interrupts and talks go derek or hotch. Okay be like that then. You arrive at the unsubs apartment and no one is there. Gasoline, chains and cots are there though. You look around his room and find a map thumbtacked to a wall. "Reid come look at this, all the abandoned buildings in this area are crossed off" He looks at you then back at the map " Not this one" you squint your eyes and see in a red circle "7:00pm" You look at your watch 6:42pm.

It is gonna take you at least 25 minutes to get there. You run out of the room with Reid jumping into the SUV, "Agent where are you going" You hear hotch yell. "Have reid explain. "Agent no we can't go yet" You buckle in and say your sorry. That's when luke jumps in before you can take off. " I won't let you go alone." You push your Foot against the excelerator. You go 30 over the speed limits with your lights on. You see Luke basically cling to the handle on the ceiling. That's when you pull into a Factory. You see it is already up in flames as you jump out of the car barely before putting it in park. "Y/n wait!" you hear Luke yell for you but you don't stop. These kids could already be dead. You pull open the door and run through a wide metal hallway, Alvez right behind you. Pulling on a metal door you burn your hand and wrist. Having to let go Alvez pushes it open. You run in and see the unsub. Pointing your gun up "Stop don't move"

He runs, Luke going to run after him and stopping "Go i'll be fine here" "No I cant leave you" "Go you can't let him get away" and with that he runs. You see 3 cots, one little boy, a girl and a Women. You think quick for a second, running to the little boy first "y/n y/n" you hear him scream as you try to undo the chain. "Close your eyes and look the other way" You point your gun at the lock and shoot 3 times. It finally gives in. You give the boy a hug and rush him over to the door. Luke comes in rushing to the women with a pair of bolt cutters. He then directs her out side and you go to help the girl. You hear her screaming your name "y/n y/n help me please" you hear the pain and tears in her words. As you almost get to her barrels fall, the fire getting worse or knocks you down.

Dizzy you can barely get up. You finally can get up again, not even being able to walk straight as you hear her cry your name another boom . She cry's louder as you both know this building is gonna explode. You get so close to her as Luke is screaming for you to fall back, you aren't listening and crawling to her, she is still screaming your name and it breaks your heart. That's when you feel Luke pick you up "NO LUKE LET ME GO" you struggle to push his arms off your body. You then are screaming and kicking. He basically throws you out of the building and that's when you see it go up in flames completely. And the girls screams and cry's for you slowly go away.

AHH OKAY GUYS, i hope that was good 😁😁 As you can tell i did copy a case, but i did change it up and add things. I hope you guys liked it! I will be posting tomorrow. I love you !
