Chapter 3

Normal POV

First day with Haru in the house. Natsu and Lucy woke up from a long, steamy night together. Lucy squirmed as she began to wake up. She opened her eyes, seeing her fiance filling her vision.

She smiled and kissed his forehead. Natsu groaned and blinked his eyes open, looking back at Lucy. "Good morning." He said, holding her tighter. "Morning." They stayed in bed for a while together before smelling something from downstairs. "What is that?"

They sat up, groggy from their sleep. They went downstairs to find Haru making breakfast. She noticed them come into the kitchen and continued cooking. "Morning, you two. How'd you sleep?" She asked as she began setting the table. "Good. What'd you make?" Natsu asked, immediately taking a seat. Lucy took a seat shortly after.

"Fluffy pancakes." Haru held out plates with thick and fluffy japanese pancakes with powdered sugar, fruit and syrup. "Oohhh, that looks awesome. Thanks, sis." Natsu immediately dug into his food. Haru smiled and set Lucy's food out for her. "Thank you. It smells delicious." She nodded slightly before grabbing her own plate and sitting at the table with them. "So how'd you two sleep?" She asked.

"We slept pretty good. How about you?" Natsu muffled while shoving food down his throat. Lucy couldn't help but laugh a little. "Well, I didn't get much sleep considering I heard you two going at it all night." Haru said with a straight face.

Lucy spat out her food at Haru's comment, coughing intensely. Natsu couldn't help but started laughing. Haru joined in.

Once Lucy calmed down from almost choking, she looked up at Haru with a mortified expression. "What?!" "I mean you were pretty loud last night, Luce. I think the whole neighborhood might've heard you." Natsu said with a smirk, causing a flush of deep, Erza-red blush to cover her face.

All of a sudden, Haru was getting a call. "Sorry I gotta take this. Be right back." She said and left the room. Natsu looked over at Lucy, who was still blushing madly.

"Hey Luce. How are you and Haru getting along?" He asked her, bringing her back from her moment. "Well, honestly I don't know. She really doesn't seem to be like me and I don't know why." She rested her head in her palm. "It just seems like she wants nothing to do with me." Natsu rubbed her back in comfort. "Well, I can ask her about it if you need me to. We are getting married, so we should probably make sure she's okay with it." He held her hand, the both of them admiring the beautiful diamond ring slid on Lucy's finger. She sighed and looked back up at Natsu.

"Are you sure?" Natsu smiled and caressed her hand. "Of course. Don't worry about it." She smiled back at him, kissing his cheek. He then stood up and went to where Haru left. When he approached her, she was laughing on the phone with someone, a shade of red on her cheeks as they spoke. 'She's talking to Rogue' Natsu thought with a smile. "Alright, bye Rogue." She hung up the phone and turned around to find her brother standing behind her.

"Who was that?" He asked her. "It was Rogue. We're planning on hanging out later. He's gonna pick me up." She explained, lightly twirling her hair. He laughed at her reaction. "Someone's in lllooovvveee." He mocked, smirking. She became offended by his words, hitting him in the arm.

"Shut up." They both laughed lightly. "Hey, I wanted to ask you something." She looked at him with a focused expression. "I've noticed that you seem to be upset with Luce. Can you tell me what's going on?" She seemed to tense up at the question, but pretended she was fine. "What are you talking about? You two are adorable together, why would I be upset?" She laughed awkwardly.

Natsu was confused by her reactions. "Well, gotta go!" Before he could say anything else, Haru shut herself in her room. He sighed and went back to Lucy. She looked up from her phone at her fiance.
