The Scadovia's Heart or also called the Scadovan.

It was one of the very first and one of the oldest cities that ever existed in Arcadia. Emperor Scadovia Synderium founded it and soon became a safe haven for both Arcadians and Paragons.

But not for long...

"Damn it! Why did this happen?!"

"Hang in there, Ryore."

In front of the Synderium Castle, the GM15 guildmembers were risking their lives trying to protect the heavily injured Ryore after a magical shrapnel went straight at his legs.

"Just a little bit more, Ryore!"

Xvin tried his best to pull him out of the battle while the rest of their friends tried to protect them.

KABOOM!

"Argh!"

But it wasn't enough. In just a second, the whole squad that tried to protect them was wiped out by an approaching airship.

The airship extends vertically with propellers at its back and gunners at its sides.

Without delay, it immediately fired at them.

PEW! PEW! PEW!

Xvin temporarily dropped Ryore on the ground while he tried to deflect the incoming beams. As the famed Pyromancer, Ryore had the ultimate ability to manipulate fire, including the incoming beams.

But his eyes widened upon seeing that the beams weren't stopping.

SHING!

The beams were suddenly deflected away and was sent toward the airship.

BAM!

In just one shot, the whole machinery exploded. Xvin immediately bowed at the man who had just arrived right in front of him.

It was a man totally covered black metal suit and purple glowing patches around his outfit.

"Master... those futuristic airships..."

"Yeah, I know. I didn't know that the other continent was also trying to be part of this war."

Suddenly, another set of airships descended from the sky. Blademan immediately waved his hand at Xvin.

"Take Ryore inside and protect the Emperor."

"But! We're supposed to guard the entrance!"

Blademan suddenly took out his earpiece and slammed it on the ground.

"Look at your situation, Xvin. Did you think you managed to defend the entrance?"

Xvin didn't even need to look around to know that his whole squad was obliterated and Ryore was even badly injured.

Blademan waived his hand one more time.

"Stop spacing out. Camilla's not even answering anymore. I want you to check on her."

"Yes, master."

Upon climbing the long plight of stairs to the massive door of the Synderium Castle, Xvin gently placed the injured Ryore on the ground.

"Stay here."

"Goodluck, bro."

Right away, Xvin entered the castle. And just like what Blademan expected, the heavily secured castle was already infiltrated as hundreds of NPC bodies were lying on the floor.
