It was an eerie feeling as smoke filled the Miranda Kingdom. The once noisy but peaceful Harbor of the Synderium Empire was suddenly plunged into chaos.

- Royal Palace of the Miranda Kingdom -

"What should we do?! The Ghosts are gone!"

"How can you be sure?! They will be back!"

The collapse of the Towers was immediately felt by the Royal Family.

"No! I can't feel them!"

"T-They are gonna return, right? Right?!?!"

"They must be!!"

"W-What if they don't!"

"B-Blasphemy!! If we planned something and they returned, they will judge us as defiers!!"

The Mavencrowns were in disarray as they couldn't feel the Mavencrown Ghosts. The Mavencrown Towers crumbled down due to Revenant's explosion, engulfing the entirety of Miranda Kingdom's undergrounds in which all the Towers were interconnected.

The current King, King Anthony Mavencrown, couldn't do anything but watch as his chaotic family screamed and yelled at each other. Unknown to them, Rosaria Mavencrown was looking at them through the door as it was slightly open.

She hoped that the collapse of the Tower would free her family from a lifetime of subservience. Sadly, it has not yet taken effect. Rosaria left in silence as the heated debate inside the throne room continued.

- In the Residential Area of the Miranda Kingdom -

THUD! THUD! THUD!

Retired Arcadian Royal Knight Jonas was fixing his fences after getting caught in the explosion. This was the man Kane met months ago and told him about the Mavencrown Towers.

CLACK! CLACK! CLACK!

An Adventurer arrived and dropped a few pieces of wood.

"Sir Jonas, here you go!"

"Oh, I'm really thankful, my boy. I'm sorry for making you do this when you cleared the Tower."

"It's fine! Commissions are always the pride and glory of an Adventurer! Also, I'm just paying it forward since some guys helped me conquer that Tower. Fortunately, I did reach the Top before it collapsed."

The two momentarily paused to look at the Tower that was no longer there.

"Hey," the old man spoke, "You said that some guys helped you in that Tower, right? Kid?"

"Yup!" the adventurer replied.

"Funny. Same time happened in my time. During my climb, a Paladin Paragon also helped us for undisclosed reasons. We coincidentally met him at the Top while he was eating in some kind of cam—"

"Oh! Wait! That's what also happened to us! Three Paragons, Sir Kane, Sir Malloy, and Sir Rafter, were in the middle of eating their meal. Weird enough, they also had their own classes already. Yet, they helped us for some reason!"

Jonas was flustered.

"W-Wait... did you say 'Kane'?"

"Y-Yes. Why?"

"Kane? Small weird-looking black-haired dude?"

"Y-Yes! I think that's him!"

Jonas chuckled upon hearing Kane again after a few months.
