The yawning Jae Hwan decided to take a stroll back at the Chickenfighter to check their stock. It was already 2 AM. No one should be awake at this point in time, but he just couldn't sleep.
But it shocked him upon seeing the drooling and sleeping Kane on the chair.
"W-What the..."
Seeing that there was even a glass of water right in front of him, it seemed Kane dozed off while doing something. Looking at his left, Jae Hwan saw that Kane was still online.
"Hehehe..."
Jae Hwan grabbed the Visor and the rest of the set and wore them.
"I haven't played in a very long time!"

Kane finally woke up from his slumber.
"Jae Hwan... you're here?"
"Yeah."
"Is that even gonna work?"
"Nope. There's facial recognition."
Jae Hwan gently returned the set to the ground before heading toward the stockroom.
"Are you okay? You even asked for a day off."
"Yeah, I've been pretty busy with all the shit happening."
"The Synderium war?"
"Yeah. That Sinberum war or whatever it's called. Ugh... I better return back, we're probably on our destination..."
Kane walked back to his VR set, but he just stared at them instead of wearing it. He was exhausted. But no only he was physically exhausted, he was also mentally exhausted. It was tiring.
He met Ivar, an opponent that he easily defeated before. But now he lost.
He received a quest that was as easy as escorted Jenny back safely. And yet... he failed.
'What am I doing?'

Upon logging in, Kane's character was still being cooked, tied on a wooden pole.

Kane looked around and noticed that the Orcs were sleeping, waiting for him to be fully cooked.
'Are these guys stupid? If I'm fully cooked, then I'm dead. If a Paragon died, we'd disintegrate into gray light.'

A knife appeared on Kane's hand. In just one second, Kane managed to free his hands and grabbed the pole afterward to prevent him from falling down.

With that, Kane managed to free himself with ease.
'Hmmm, my health nearly dropped to half.'
