But deep down, some people, especially veteran Arcadian Players and Arcadians, hailed him as a hero.
He was a man who tried to bring balance to Arcadia. Cleared dungeons and obliterated the monsters and abusive Paragons so that new NPC civilizations would thrive.
He broke many records and was the only person said to have unlocked the gates to the edge of Arcadia, the Indarian Sky Fortress.
That man is Ryu Kang Joon.

A Hero.
A dead man.

It was the revelation that Leon unveiled.
"I guess Arcanos' brainwashing worked since you were fooled into thinking that Kang Joon has always been alive. But in reality, we're just using his name as a Scapegoat whenever such Skirmish against Cyberterrorists turns haywire."

Leon showed Revenant a virtual map of the real world with red marks and pictures everywhere.
"This map is tracking down all the Cyberterrorists who were often in groups. Even Kang Joon mostly travels with Akasha and Bastion's Guild, the Nostradamus. But you are alone. A man who just appeared out of nowhere to imitate Kang Joon and other Cyberterrorists."

Leon opened up a video clip. It was a clip of Revenant in the Herald Island.
It showed clips of Chaos Revenant speedrunning all the events on that island, including his involvement in the Centennial Mishap.
"We knew you had nothing to do with the Centennial Mishap. Neither does Kang Joon since he's dead. Our investigations concluded that this was a mistake on our part. The guy who caused the Mishap made it happen through natural means without bugs or cheats."

It showed a clip of the massive explosion on the ship, but Kane wasn't shown.
"Not one of us predicted that some crazy shit would stack a bunch of explosive barrels in the same ship he's in just to kill the Heraldian Horrors. It was a weird but valid method, and no one could hold him accountable. But the event caused quite a fuss since we were unprepared it would happen."

Videos were shown of the massive chaos in the Miranda Kingdom due to the influx of new players crossing the border without even needing to finish the Herald Questline.
"Therefore, what did Arcanos do?"

A clip of a cloaked Chaos Revenant resurfacing from the Ocean, scaling the walls of the Miranda Kingdom, was shown.
"They used this clip of yours, blurring the face and replacing it with Kang Joon's. It doesn't matter. They just needed to pin the blame on him, and it worked, as no one blamed Arcanos for our blunder. Otherwise, they'll ask for compensation, and the company will lose their beloved money."
SHING! SHING! SHING!
And then Leon showed him clips of Chaos Revenant participating in multiple events from then on, including the Siege of Tanyang Fishing Village.
