While Jasmine baked cupcakes with the girls Michael went to his at home office down the hall
"Mommy?" Angel asked
"Yes?" Jasmine answered while closing the oven door
"Do you want to be Nicole's mommy?" Angel asked
"W-what?" Jasmine gasped
"My daddy can be Angel's daddy too" Nicole mentioned
"Yes I don't have a daddy and Nicole don't have a mommy" Angel replied
"And daddy says sharing is a way of caring for other people so I said I'll share my daddy with Angel too" Nicole explained
"Yes and I'll share you with Nicole" Angel added
"But then Ricky had to be mean" Nicole mentioned and rolled her eyes
"Yea, he said we can't decide that" Angel replied and rolled her eyes too
"Oh, well most mommy's and daddies first meet each other and some time after they meet and really like each other they think of wanting a baby and if they're lucky enough they get a baby" Jasmine mentioned
"But at school Jesse's mommy and daddy are not together anymore and his daddy found a new mommy and he got a puppy too" Angel mentioned
"Yes and his mommy got a new baby in her belly too" Nicole added
"So mommy's and daddies don't need to be together to be a mommy or a daddy" Angel told her mother
"Well I know, but-" Jasmine tried
"Why are you mean like Ricky?" Angel asked, crossing her arms
"Yes or not answering like daddy?" Nicole added
"Because, it's a difficult question" Jasmine answered
"Oh, like you need to think about it first?" Both girls asked
"Yes" Jasmine nodded
"Oh okay" Both girls answered
---- Several hours later,
Once the girls finished decorating the cupcakes and Jasmine cleaned up the kitchen she made her way down the hall to Michael's at home office, while the girls were playing in Nicole's room
"Are you ok?" Jasmine asked, once she stepped into the office and found Michael standing by the window and staring outside
"I don't know" He replied, shrugging his shoulders
"You're thinking about what the girls are talking about?" Jasmine asked
"I mean I knew that one day I was going to tell Nicole about Nina but I hoped she'd be older to understand it or maybe some part of me hoped I didn't have to tell her because it hurts too much" Michael replied and swallowed some tears
"I'll help you" Jasmine mentioned and wrapped her arms around him "And it's ok to miss Nina too" She added
"Thank you" Michael replied and held onto her a little longer, needing the comfort of holding someone close, he so desperately missed the feeling of holding Nina close
