Chapter 69

Once everyone that was invited by the newly weds arrived they hugged and congratulated them before they all gathered in the party tent, enjoying the snacks and drinks while chatting with each other

"I hope you guys like the wedding cake I made personally" Patrice mentioned

"You found time to make a wedding cake too?" Jasmine gasped

"Yes" Patrice smiled

"You're the best" Jasmine smiled at her and hugged her

"By the way you guys are all over the news, on the radio on my way here they talked about finally seeing y'all kids and they wondered if Janet had a baby too since she held her little girl and they assumed the bestman was her husband or baby daddy because he stood next to her and how they loved your dress too, they did complain about not hearing the vows" Patrice informed them "Oh and y'alls exit with the Chinook, that was awesome by the way" She added

"That's my husband's idea" Jasmine smiled at Michael

"Well Al had the connections so I'll give him the credits for it" Michael mentioned and softly kissed his bride

"Aw you two are so cute" Patrice smiled

"Mom come on this thing is heavy!" A teenage boy called her while holding on to the cart with a big coolbox on it

"That's Troy my son" Patrice mentioned "Hey Troy come here and meet the happy couple" She told him

"Fine" Troy sighed, he didn't like assisting his mother for weddings, mostly it's couples that whine about everything "Oh my shit you're Michael fucking Jackson" He gasped when he saw Michael next to Jasmine

"Troy!" Patrice scolded him and smacked his head

"I mean, nice to meet you Mr and Mrs Jackson" Troy mentioned

While the newly weds were talking with Patrice and her son Troy the others enjoyed themselves at the party tent, chatting, listening to the music and enjoying the food and drinks

Once Michael and Jasmine joined the others in the party tent they chatted with a few people and Jasmine introduced him to a few of her aunts and cousins that were there

"Can I talk to you for a moment?" Carlos asked Michael when Maria pulled Jasmine with her to catch up with some family members

"Sure" Michael answered, wondering what he had to say now

"Welcome to the family, I'm happy to know that you will take care of my daughter and that you meant it when you said you love her" Carlos mentioned "I'm sorry for not realizing that sooner" He apologized

"Apology accepted" Michael replied

"Hey since you're renaming your bakery does that mean I can stay an investor?" Marlon asked Jasmine once he got the chance to talk to her

"Of course, you're family now" Jasmine smiled at him

"Yes, finally you're my my sister in law" Marlon replied "Took you long enough bro" He smirked at Michael who made his way to them, getting Jasmine for the cake cutting part, people wanted cake since they saw Patrice placing the cake on the table and building it up in layers

"Wait until you get your heart ripped out and stomped on" Michael replied "It took some time to repair it but this beautiful kind woman brought superglue and a whole lot of patience" He smiled at his bride and kissed her
