Chapter 60

A few days later,

The media had figured out Jasmine probably already gave birth but it wasn't at the hospital, they did wonder why there was an ambulance earlier that week at the Ranch and connected the dots, Jasmine had an at home birth so they went over to the Ranch and waited until they came outside

Fernando was released on bail and was back in Manhattan, talking with his lawyers to find ways to sue Jasmine and take away her bussines to start with and he also told them he wanted custody over his child, not that he wanted to take care of a child, he just wanted to ruin Jasmine's life

Jasmine was still feeling sore but the swelling in her face had gone down and she used makeup to hide the red and blue marks that were left in her face

Al's knee still hurt too

Michael told Ricky to get the best lawyers in the country to sue the living shit out of Fernando, he could've killed Jasmine if Al didn't pull him away from her

"Make sure he has no money left to his name once they're done with him" Michael told Ricky

"Of course" Ricky answered and nodded "You know I couldn't do anything, I would have, he's lucky Al was the one that went back to the house, I probably would've killed him" he mentioned

"I can't lose you, you're the best bodyguard I have and you're also family, please protect Jasmine and the kids, always help them first, if we're stuck in a burning building make sure they get out and take care of them" Michael told him

"I'll make sure you get out of there too" Ricky promised

"But they're your priority ok?" Michael told him

"I feel like talking to Nina again, you're not suffering from a deadly disease are you? She said the exact same things when she was dying, she made me promise to protect you and Nicole with my life" Ricky replied

"No I'm not dying or planning on it but you've to put Jasmine and the kids first, ok?" Michael mentioned

"Ok" Ricky nodded

Janet arrived at the gate, trying to get past the sea of paparazzi outside the gates that waited for the first glimpse of the new baby

She was bombed with questions too, asking why she was the first of her family to visit the newborn, why didn't Jasmine's parents stop by yet, why didn't her parents and siblings come over yet and why was there also police at the estate the day the ambulance also left

Janet ignored each one of them and was glad they closed the gates behind her and made sure the paparazzi stayed outside the gates too

She parked her car infront of the house and made her way inside, finding Jasmine on the couch, crying softly while she looked at her sleeping baby in his travel seat

"Hey, are you ok?" Janet asked, joining her on the couch

"No" Jasmine sniffed

"Oh no, postnatal depression?" Janet gasped

"No" Jasmine answered shaking her head

"Those idiots outside are driving you crazy?" Janet asked, referring to the paparazzi

"No, they let him go" Jasmine sniffed and pointed at a letter that arrived earlier

"What, a letter? From who? What are you talking about?" Janet questioned her

"Fernando" Jasmine answered

"Who's that again?" Janet asked, she heard that name before but couldn't remember who he was supposed to be
