Chapter 61

A month later, June 12th 1992,

Jasmine's injuries were healed and she wanted to go back to the bakery again, she missed it and also missed her employees and the interaction with the customers, of course she was up to date with what happened because of Patrice and Patrice also visited her and met baby Miguel too, she also dropped off a small birthday cake for the little ones birthday, even though it was a week after he was born

The lawyers were busy building their case against Fernando and with help of a private detective they were digging into his past and tried to find out as much information about him as possible so they could use all of it in their case against him, they were aware of Fernando and his lawyers also trying to build a case against Jasmine but he was no treath to them, because there was nothing to use against her

The girls were getting used to share their parents with their new baby brother and they also were getting used to him crying at night, it annoyed them but they had no choice than to accept it

Jasmine made sure to have enough milk pumped for the baby before she was ready to leave for her first day back at her bakery

It would be her first time leaving home since the day they arrived at home with Miguel

"Welcome back" Patrice smiled and hugged Jasmine, happy to see her back at the bakery

"I'm so glad to be back, believe it or not but I missed being covered in flour and butter" Jasmine smiled

"You decided to get pregnant" Patrice smirked jokingly

"He's such a cute baby, I know I'm his mother and all mothers say that about their own baby but he's really so handsome already, he already has his father's looks" Jasmine beamed happily while they made their way to the kitchen and grabbed the ingredients they needed for the twenty dozen cookies for the shop

"He's a cute baby, makes me want to have a baby again" Patrice mentioned

"How old is your son again?" Jasmine asked

"Sixteen, I was barely sixteen when I had him, he's spending the summer at his dad's house" Patrice answered and sighed

"Atleast you're still friends with your ex husband" Jasmine mentioned

"Yes we still celebrate Christmas with the three of us each year" Patrice smiled "We just work better as friends than being in a relationship" She added

Later that day,

Alejandro who was on his way home decided to stop by at Jasmine's bakery to pick up some snacks for later, he was planning a date night for Ricky and himself, it's their four year anniversary of the day they first met or two year anniversary if they didn't count the first two years Juana was trying to make it a love triangle and it was roughly a year ago he officially moved in at Ricky's bungalow too and almost a year ago he officially got divorced from Juana too, plenty of reasons to celebrate it with a romantic date night he figured

"Did Michael send you to pick me up?" Jasmine asked when she saw Alejandro looking at the various treats, trying to decide what he should buy, it all looked and tasted good

"No, I can't decide what to buy for a special date night" Alejandro mentioned

"Depends on what you are celebrating" Jasmine mentioned

"Four years ago we first met, two years ago Juana stopped trying to be part of our relationship and a year ago I moved in with Ricky and divorced Juana officially" Al answered
