Chapter 65

A few days later, September 15th 1992,

While Janet was at the hospital with Alejandro and Ricky because her water broke earlier and she was in full labor by the time they arrived at the hospital

Michael picked up his mother because Janet called and said she wanted her mother with her because she knows what to do since she went trough labor nine times herself

Leaving Jasmine at the bakery with the kids since Ricky and Al obviously couldn't babysit them right them and they couldn't go with Michael and Katherine to the hospital either

"Can we make cookies?" Nicole asked Patrice while Jasmine was breastfeeding baby Miguel

"Yes, what flavor do you like?" Patrice asked her

"Chocolate" Nicole answered

"And you?" Patrice asked Angel

"Chocolate too" Angel answered "But with mommy's thingies in it" She added

"Yes the thingies" Nicole agreed

"Chopped hazelnuts" Patrice smiled "Sure we can add those" She mentioned "We have this big thing here and we're gonna put all ingredients in here" She explained, showing the girls the big mixing bowl and mixer

"Butter, right?" Angel asked

"And eggs?" Nicole asked

"Good, yes and flower, baking soda, some sugar and a little bit of salt too" Patrice mentioned "Oh and of course the homade chocolate paste and hazel nuts to make chocolate cookies like your mom" She added

"And then push the button to make noise and the thing that spins around to make cookies before they go in the oven" Both girls mentioned

"Yes the big mixer" Patrice nodded

Once Jasmine was done with feeding Miguel and placed him back in the stroller she helped Patrice and the girls with making cookies

Meanwhile,

Michael parked the car at the staff only area behind the hospital to avoid the media incase they were there and helped Katherine out of the passenger's seat and into the staff entrance of the hospital where they were led to Janet's room, avoiding the general public and other patients

"Alright we arranged a private room for Miss Jackson and there's security guarding the door already, Miss Jackson's partner took care of that" The nurse explained leading Michael and his mother towards Janet's room where they found Ricky and two other guys at the door

"Aren't you supposed to be inside the room too?" Michael asked Ricky while Katherine went inside the room to support her daughter

"No, it's Al's baby and I already was there when Jaz gave birth in your mother's kitchen, I'm still recovering from that experience" Ricky answered

"Mom I don't want to do this anymore" Janet cried, squeezing the life out of Al's hand when she saw her mother enter the room

"Baby there's no going back anymore right now, you're in full labor" Katherine mentioned and took her other hand in her own "But you can do this" She told her

"Why did you do this to me!" Janet snapped at Al

"I'm sorry I didn't know you'd hate me for it" Al apologized

"Oh I hate you right now" Janet breathed

"You can push" The doctor interrupted them

"No I don't want to, I don't want to do this anymore" Janet cried
