Later that day,

Ricky had brought the girls to school and picked Katherine up on his way back to the Ranch, she may not celebrate birthdays or holidays but she does try to visit their children on their birthday

Jasmine made a new birthday cake in the meantime, not that she didn't like Al's cake but she couldn't give any guests that cake and act like she made it, his was not as perfectly finished off as hers would be and she'd add more ingredients, flavor and decoration than he did

Instead of a 'boring' regular cake she went for a red velvet cake with a mascarpone filling and cream cheese on top and little caco mixed with some cake crumbles as decoration on top of the cream cheese



Once Ricky arrived with Katherine he noticed Janet and Marlon's cars on the driveway too, they wanted Jasmine's cake, assuming she made cake for Michael's birthday and of course whish their brother happy birthday too

"Just admit it y'all wanted cake so desperately you barely could say the words happy birthday" Michael shook his head at his siblings that stuffed their faces with the red velvet cake Jasmine just finished decorating

"You know we love you too" Janet replied and took another bite of the delicious cake "Jaz do you have any male pastry chefs working at your bakery that are single?" She asked after swallowing the second bite

"I don't know, I mean I only know my assistant Patrice is single but I don't know the dating life of my other employees" Jasmine answered

"How old is she? And is she also Latina?" Janet asked

"She's twenty eight I think and she's half Asian half Black" Jasmine answered

"She's cute, I saw her last week at the bakery when I picked up some cookies for my kids" Marlon mentioned

"I could maybe become a lesbian if she's as good at making pastries like Jaz" Janet smiled

"Patrice isn't into women" Jasmine replied

"Well but I'm me, I'm basically Michael's twin, so she might be" Janet smirked

"Ok yesterday you didn't like it when I called you Michael's twin and now you taking full advantage of it" Marlon shook his head at her

"Because I'm not that old" Janet rolled her eyes at him

"Hey I'm not ancient, I'm only eight years older than you!" Michael scoffed

"Yea and I'm just thirteen months older than him so I'm not old either you little rascal" Marlon told her

"Hey don't insult me you old bastard" Janet smirked at him

"Janet Damita Jo Jackson" Katherine gasped when she heard Janet curse at her brother when she stepped into the room

"Mother" Janet gasped, she didn't expect her mother to arrive so early

"We do not call each other names, I didn't raise y'all to be name-calling one another, I don't care the reason you should always be polite" Katherine told her

"Yes little sis be polite" Marlon smirked at her

"I'm sure you were teasing her, you're not some little boy so don't act like a little boy that teases his sister" Katherine replied to him

"I'm sorry" Marlon apologized

"Mhm" Katherine hummed and went over to Michael "Happy birthday son" She smiled at him and pulled him in a motherly hug
