Go away (Chapter 20)

Zandra P.O.V

 Since it was the weekend and it was a nice day I decided to take a walk around  the neighborhood. I walked out of the house and stared at the old house were I was supposed to live in now, but I had to move cause I can't stand living there; I moved along and went to the park. I was listening to music as I walked by every house; admiring how pretty the day is. I barley felt a tap on my shoulder; I turned around, and saw my dad there breath heavily as if he was running after me, which was what he probably did.

 "Zandra I'm sorry please come back home, I need you back in my life." my dad said pleading me; he had a sad look on his face, but I knew it was a fake one cause before he would always apologize to me or my mother with that look, but he never means it. "No." I said sternly. I slapped his hand off my shoulder , and continued to walk away. I now felt hands wrap around my thin arms; I spun around, and now saw tears in my dads eyes "Zandra please I'm truly so sorry, p-please forgive me Zandra I beg you." my dad was still pleading me; his face was now red, and all wet because of the tears. "I will never forgive you; if I ever did you will bring me back down, and I can't afford that. I'm now moving on with my life I don't need you or mom cause I'm done. You and mom never realized that I existed, I've done things just to get your attention, but you guys never bothered. I've showed cuts just to get your attention but you never bothered, I've gotten piercings, I've skipped school, I've done terrible things just to get your attention, but you guys never gave a shit about me, so why should I bother loving someone again who never cared who I existed? You and mom always kept fighting, You always abused me, you've always said sorry, but I know you never are. Leave me the fuck alone and go away; I don't need you in my life anymore." Once I was done it felt like weights have been lifted of my shoulder,and now I felt like I can now sit up straight. My dad stood there in shock staring at the floor. I spun around, and left him there walking back home.

 I closed the door, and took a deep breath. "Zandra are you okay? You look really pale." Kai looked at me around the corner to the kitchen "Yeah" I said; it was the truth it felt so good to spill everything about how I felt to my dad. I walked in the kitchen and saw Kai chopping some pepperonis up, and automatically a strong smell hit me. "Whats that?" I said looking around the kitchen sniffing to see were the smell came from "Its pizza that I'm baking." Kai said as he walked over, and hugged me "It smells so good you better not burn it." I said; I pecked his cheek and went to the counter, and sat there. "I'm not gonna burn it." Kai said resuming to his chopping "Mhm that what you said; how about I bet you that if you burn that you owe me 10$, and if you don't burn it then I owe you 10." I said with a smirk. "Okay deal." Kai putted the knife down, and shook my hand.

 "I didn't burn the pizza! Babe I didn't burn it!" Kai said running to the living room. I paused the movie I was watching,and looked at him "Finnne." I said while reaching into my pocket to pull out two five dollar bills; "Here." I said, waving the two five dollar bills. Kai grabbed it "Thanks." Kai pecked me on the cheek, and went back to the kitchen. I smiled, and clicked play and continued watching the movie.

 Kai P.O.V.

 Zandra shoved pizza in her mouth as if she were making out with it. "Damn girl I know you love it, but don't make out with it in front of me." I said sarcastically, Zandra just laughed, and continued to eat taking sips of soda between each bite.

 We walked to the living room after we decided to watch a movie. Half way into the movie Zandra decided to spark up a conversation "Kai?" Zandra sat up looking at me with worry "What's wrong?" I said sitting up also facing towards her "I was gonna go for a walk to the park today, but my dad some how found me, and was now pleading me to forgive him, but I didn't after that I walked back home." I sat there in disbelief "Zandra it's okay you don't have to worry about anything okay?" I scooted over and wrapped my arms around her stomach. "Kai I'm scared." Zandra said with a quivering voice "Its okay don't worry I'll make sure nothing happens okay?" I said pulling away from her looking at her straight at the eye "Okay." Zandra said as she laid on my lap.

  We both fell asleep on the couch until my parents came in the living room loudly waking me up. "Sorry hun." My mom said as she walked in the kitchen with groceries. I looked over at Zandra, and saw Zandra who was surprisingly still asleep with a slight snore. I picked her up bridal style, and carried her to her room. I pulled the blanket over her. and walked back to my room to go to sleep.
