Adventure Time (Chapter 23)

2 Months later 

Kai P.O.V.

 "Zandra guess what time it is!" I ran through the hallways to her room, and saw her sleeping hugging her pillow "What." Zandra sounded grouchy when shes half asleep "Its adventure time!" I ran to her bed, and jumped on the side she wasn't laying on; just to annoy her. "What do you mean?" Zandra was still asleep so I decided to tickle her just to get her up. "Were going to California!" I said and jumped on her and tickled her stomach. "Kai stop!" followed by a laugh Zandra tried hard not to kick me or slap my face, but I knew she was tempted to. I kissed her cheek "Get up we have to go to the airport in like three hours." I got up from her, and sat there to see if she is gonna move. "Zandraaaaa wake up." I shook her until she finally did something "one more hour." Zandra nuzzled her head into the pillow, and fell back asleep. "That's it." I carried her up bridal style to the bathroom; I set her one the sink while she still clung to me still asleep. This girl can't be that tired, unless shes just lazy. I got cold water on my hands, and flicked water on her "Cold water! oh my god that's cold." Zandra finally sat up wiping the water that was dripping on her face with her white shirt; I laughed.

 "Now your awake now get ready, and pack up we need to get to the airport in like three hours." I said, and brushed her hair out of her face "What for?" Zandra hopped of the bathroom counter, and started brushing her teeth "To go to California dummy." I smiled at her "Can you help me?" Zandra followed me out of the bathroom with the tooth brush in her mouth "Can you get my suit case for me, and get my black converse; also bring out some galaxy leggings along with my Nirvana T-shirt?" Zandra pointed out all the things that she told me to get, and went back to the bathroom. I already packed everything I needed, so I can just help her with some stuffs. I pulled out her black suitcase from under the bed, and opened it; putting her black high tops and her leggings and T-shirt next to her suitcase. "I'm done!" I shouted as I walked out.

 Zandra P.O.V.

  Why didn't Kai tell me we were going to California today? I thought to myself as I threw in clothes in the suitcase not bothering to fold it. How many days are we supposed to stay? I walked out of the room, "Kai!" I shouted from the top of the stairs; there was a strong smell of pancakes or waffles being cooked in the kitchen "Yeah?" Kai poked his head out of the kitchen "How many days are we staying?" "Were staying for at least like two weeks, so pack alot of clothes." Kai resumed to his cooking. I ran back to my room and threw in more stuffs in there. After twenty minutes I zipped up my suitcase and went downstairs with my suit case. I decided to not do my hair or make up to just save the hassle, and time since the airport was a thirty minute drive.

 I walked to the kitchen leaving the suitcase by the stairs "Here catch." Kai threw a waffle at me, and I caught it out of habit. "Come on lets go we can't be late you know the security check takes forever." Kai slipped on his black vans, and we soon headed out the door once Kai got his suit case from his room.

 "Why didn't you tell me we were going to California?" I said looking at him "Because first of all I kinda forgot, so I decided it to be a surprise, but I got to excited, and told you early in the morning." Kai looked at me with a smile than looked back at the road. I kissed his cheek, and he grabbed my hand the whole time on the way to the airport.

 Kai P.O.V.

 "Ready?" I said once I shut the trunk of the car "Yeah." Zandra tied her hair up guessing shes was preparing for the craziness she was gonna have to face.

 After we went through all the process we finally were able to find our seat on the air plane, and settled down. "What time is it?" I pulled out the phone from my pocket "7:30." I putted my phone back in my pocket "Why did you wake me up so earlyyyyy." Zandra looked like she was gonna kill me "First because girls usually take long to get ready, second cause I wanna get there as soon as possible." I kissed her forehead, and stared at the head that was in front of me. "Thank you for choosing South West air-" I cut off the flight attendant, and listened to music; Zandra did the same.  I felt a tap on my shoulder "Um excuse me sir, but can you turn your device off please were about to set off." The lady sounded like she was gonna yell at me like usual flight attendants. Zandra and I took off our head phones, and started talking.
