This can't be real (Chapter 25)

Kai P.O.V.

  I woke up to see the empty bed side next to me expecting Zandra to be laying there peacefully, but she wasn't. I kinda panicked, and got ready to go look for her to see where she went. I was gonna call her, but my phone died "Guess I gotta do it the old fashion way." I sighed, and picked up my Pierce The Veil shirt and some black skinny jeans. I didn't bother doing my hair so I slipped on my black beanie, and walked out the door while putting on my vans; which wasn't a success, so I just sat in the hallway slipping it on.

 I turned a corner to the elevator door. I was muttering to myself, and looked up to see Zandra being cornered by two men who I'm guessing around there 20s. I saw one of the guy making out with her, but by Zandra's position, and body movement I knew she was forced to. I walked up to the guy who was kissing her; I threw a violent punch at me. The other guy spun around, and stared at me in hatred "What do you think your doing?" He was about to swing at me, but I dodged it. I heard Zandra screaming, but I couldn't make ot what she was saying cause I was so focused on my anger. I came back to reality as I felt a sharp pain along the forearm; I looked down at my right arm, and saw blood slowly dripping down my arm onto the carpet. I looked back up, and saw the two guys stare at me with a sick look on there face before they walked of, and a few minutes later saw people rushing in with a look of horror on there face. Before they could react I immediately. turn to Zandra see her crying with her palm against her eyes, shaking vigorously, and breathing heavily.

Zandra P.O.V.

 I opened my eyes which I regretted, because the sun showing through the curtains blinded me. Before I could check the time I saw Kai sleeping with a slight smile on his face. I putted on my glasses, and checked the time 11:32. I hoped out of bed, and went to take a shower, and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the bathroom wearing my galaxy leggings again with a loose gray shirt. I quietly slipped on my combat boots and my black denim hoodie. I looked at myself in the mirror looking up at my hair, and saw complete madness so I just putted on a black beanie, and walked out the door.

 I decided to go to the beach, and hang around there since we now have a few more days left,and I wanna take in as much as I can. While waiting for the elevator I texted Kai.

Heading to the beach meet me there if you can.

  Once I hit send I looked back up still waiting for the elevator to come up. Geez whats taking so long? I started growing impatient. I heard whispers, and turned around to see two guys staring at me; it made me uncomfortable, but I just ignored it. Right after I turned around I heard a voice call out to me "Hey whats your name?" I turned around again. I don't even know these guys, so why should I tell them? I turned around rolled my eyes, and heard a ding. Finally the elevator is here. I took one step forward before I felt hands wrap my upper arm. "Hey!" I turned around looking at the hand, and at the mans face the look they were both giving me was completely horrifying. "Where are you going?" one of the men behind the other came walking towards me; I felt my heart racing immediately.

 I wanted to scream, but I couldn't say anything so I just stood there in shock until I felt hands push me against the corner of the wall opposite of me. I turned around trying to escape before anything worse could happen, but it was to late the two men ad already corned me. I felt a hand brush down my arm, and another hand stroking my hair. That was the last push. I closed my eyes keeping the tears in; making my mouth into a thin line, and I started shaking uncontrollably. "Aww hey Jake look shes crying." then followed by a chuckle. I felt heat on my lips,and opened my eyes and saw lips on me and another face in front of me. No. I tried to push away, but felt arms on me. I tried moving my head, but I couldn't because my head was already against it.

  I felt tears blind my sight, and stinging me so I just shut it, but continued to struggle free. I felt the arms, and lips off me and I opened my eyes to see Kai punching one of them to the next. Before I could react my whole body took over me. I fell to the ground crying, and shaking. I need to stop now; now is not the time to have a attack, Kai's here, but hes not okay. I looked up to see a flashing light from one of the mans hand. It was a knife. "Kai!" I managed to get out, but I already saw streaks of blood slowly falling out of a visible line on Kai's arm. I coudln't get up, and reach out to him so I just sat there; pressing my palm against my eye ball. This can't be real.

  "Zandra are you okay?" I felt arms wrap around me; I looked up to see a worried look on Kai's face. "K-Kai your a-arm." I carefully grabbed his arm, and heard some gasp around us. There was people surrounding us see what all the loud noises was all about. "Forget about my arm I only care about you not me." he slowly pulled me up off the ground "Look down okay? we're going back to the hotel room. We got up, and walked through the crowd. "Hey sir!" We both turned around, and saw a man running to us "You have a cut on your arm you need to go to the hospital; I can take you if you don't have a ride," The man looking at me then to Kai "Thanks but no I gotta take care of my girlfriend first then I'll go." Kai turned around and I followed "But you can't it will get infected!" We both ignored the man,and walked to our room.

  I grabbed the damp towel, and brought it out to Kai. "When are we gonna go to the hospital." I said lightly "Once you finish wiping the blood a-." Kai winced "Sorry." I said. I finish wiping away the blood that was all crusty and dry, so we both got some things together to go to the hospital. Kai threw on a loose black leather hoodie, and I can't blame him its pretty smart since the blood might get on his jacket if he didn't have the leather one.

  "The cut is pretty deep we have to stitch it together, so stay here while I go get the supplies." The nurse walked off leaving me and Kai alone. "Zandra." I looked up "Yeah?" I said "Hold my hand please I honestly hate needles." I chuckled then got up and sat next to him on the bed where they do your check up (I don't know what its called) As we got in a comfortable sitting position we both held hands,and stared at the floor in silence. "Okay I'm back ready?" the nurse set everything down on a counter,and got ready. Kai took a deep breath "Yeah." The first stitch Kai winced then the next he winced again; I squeezed his hand lightly just to comfort him. "Okay we're all done just go to the front desk to check out, and your all done." the nurse got up, and walked out to the room that was across from us. "Ready?" I said getting of the bed "Yeah." Still holding hands we walked to the front counter to check out.

  We went straight to the hotel for a little bit, just to freshen up, and get ready to go out to eat. "Hey Zandra?" I looked up from my suitcase to see Kai examining his stitch "I think that once this heals I'll have this cool looking scar, and when girls ask me I'll say 'Oh I was trying to save my girlfriend' in like a duchy voice am I right." I laughed, and turned back with a smile on my face.

  "Where do you wanna go eat? I'm starving." I said walking around holding hands "Do you want Chipotle again?" Kai looked at me with a grin "You can never go wrong with Chipotle." I threw my hands out almost hitting a women who gave me a nasty look. "That women better watch what shes doing." Kai threw his arm around me feeling the cool leather against my neck; I chuckled. Once we ordered we went to eat, and planned to walk along the beach since our hotel was nearby.

  We layed down on the sand looking up at the stars on the beach. "I'm full." I said rubbing my stomach "Yeah I am too that's why I like Chipotle, because the fill you up without a doubt, and they are delicious." Kai looked at me with a smile then looked back up at the sky. We layed there for a good thirty minutes then got up to go back to the hotel room.

 Guys I'm so sorry I didn't update for at least like 2 days its because school was getting in the way, and I had a science project I needed to do which took forever and math homework I needed to do so I'm really sorry.
