Surprise! (Chapter 24)

Kai P.O.V.

 I dragged Zandra to the taxi that was waiting for us in front of the hotel. "Kai you seriously need to tell me where your taking me cause now I feel like your about to take me somewhere, and murder me there." I laughed at her sarcasm. I opened the door taking out the white roses that were sitting there "Its for you." I said handing her the roses "Aw your so cute and cliche." Zandra kissed me then went in the taxi. I whispered the location to the taxi.

 Thirty minutes Zandra was already annoying me. "Kaiii tell me where are we going like pleaseeeeeeeeee." Zandra shook my arm; it was honestly hard to keep it in, but I couldn't cause it will ruin the surprise. "Were almost there don't worry now shush your probably annoying the taxi driver." I looked down, and saw her puppy eyes "No Zandra don't do that your gonna make me feel bad." Zandra soon added the quivers to her lips "Zandra that's not fair; you can't do that." I said looking away. Zandra grabbed forced me to look at her, but I just shut my eyes the whole ride there.

 "Were here." The taxi driver parked the car. I paid the driver and thanked him. I pushed Zandra out of the taxi; "Is this the place really where your taking me an abandoned apartment building?" Zandra looked at me in a are you serious? look. "You'll see; now hurry up the sun is setting." I pulled her through the fire escape up to the roof.

Zandra P.O.V.

 Through the couple of stairs on the fire escape Kai was covering my eyes. "Okay one more step." I took the next step of the stairs Kai still covering my eyes. "Ready?" I could tell Kai was smiling, so he was obviously excited about something. "Okay now open your eyes." Kai removed his hands from my face, and I finally opened my eye. I saw candles aligned; the candles circled around a picnic blanket scattered with rose petals, and I saw a picnic bag next to a stack of pillows and blankets and with a cooler next it. "Whoa." was the only word I can get out of my mouth. Kai took my hand, and lead me to the picnic blanket.

 Kai pulled out a bag of Chipotle. "I know its your favorite." he winked at me then settled everything else out. Eating my bowl while Kai ate his burrito we both stared at the sun that was slowly setting, followed with the city lights. "This could be the best summer ever." I said with a smile "Yeah it already is, because your here." I putted my bowl down, and kissed his cheek. "You probably did allot of work on this cause this morning all the way to the middle of the afternoon you wern't there." I said with my mouth full of food, so attractive "Yeah it was I was trying to finish in a hurry, and I wouldv'e made something if we didn't live in a hotel," Kai wiped his hands, and went to the cooler "Are you thirsty?" he shuffled through the cooler moving ice to the side moving them around "Um what do you have?" I said "We have the blue Kool aid, root beer, or the basic water." "Kool aid." Kai passed me the Kool Aid, and drank it all in six gulps.

 We layed on the pillows wrapped in a blanket together. "Damn its cold." I said shivering "Well you should've never worn your shorts, but you did wear your hoodie, but its thin so it dosen't count." I flicked the side of his for head. "Well sorry, but you never told me where we were going." I said looking at him; he looked back and sighed "Fine you win this round, but next time I'll get you back." Kai looked back at the sky. The sky was full of stars,and the moon was there shining back at us.

 Zandra P.O.V.

"Wanna watch another horror movie?" I said as I walked to the bathroom to change "Yeah what do you wanna watch?" Kai was looking through Netflix "Whatever you can find." I said before I entered the bathroom to change, and shower. 

 I walked out of the bathroom to where Kai was sitting, and sat next to him on the bed. "Okay do you wanna watch The Possession or Sinister." Kai looked at me while I looked at the screen "The possession; Sinister can be for tomorrow okay?" I kissed his cheek, and got comfortable on the bed. "Arn't you gonna shower?" I whispered during the beginning of the movie which was intense "Yeah after this I wanna see what happens to the old lady." Kai obviously was drawn to the movie, and I knew it was gonna be hard to peel him away from it and to go take a shower.

 "Play it I need to know whats gonna happen to the little girl who bought the box." Kai jumped on the bed making my water fall of the bed; I was to lazy to pick it back up so I just left it there until I really needed water.

 Half way into the movie I was already drawn in to it. "No don't do that your gonna die!" I shouted waking Kai up; in his little groggy voice he said "Zandra quiet down or else somebody gonna send somebody here, and tell us to shut up." Kai rolled over on his side facing his back towards. I smiled at his cute voice, and was glad he was mines.

  After the movie I just turned of the laptop, and since I was to lazy to walk to the desk across the room I just settled it on the bed side table, and went to sleep. Once my face hit the pillow I fell immediately fell asleep, and felt arms wrapped around me "I love you." I heard Kai whispered before he fell back asleep.

 Kai P.O.V.

 I got up before Zandra did as always; I went to put on my glasses, and checked the time 2:06. We slept that long?! I jumped out of the bed. Wait why am I in a hurry. "Stupid." I whispered to myself, and crawled back to bed.
