A/N Consider this a fair warning! Very Sokeefe chapter! No smut or anything, don't worry! Buuuut, the chapter is funny and adds a tiny bit to the plot soooooo, read until I tell you to stop if you are Sophitz.

Keefe POV

"Yo, Foster! You ready?" I called from the main level. I knew she would take a while. Not because she needed to look perfect, like Biana, but because this was going to be scary. She was literally going to Fitz's cell, where she would probe his mind and find out what was going on inside her "husband's" mind when he attempted to kill her.

Sophie ran down the stairs, looking effortlessly beautiful. She threw herself in my arms.

"Thanks for coming, Keefe," she said.

A/N Major Sokeefe starts: Here

"Anytime, Foster. Anytime." Ro had told me I had to fess up now, but I wasn't sure how. I decided I'd go with the flow. "Ahem," I cleared my throat. "Sophie, I know that you just lost Fitz, and you're in a really strange position right now. But, I want you to know, that no matter what you think because of Fitz, you are amazing and special,] and- and you're truly the one I love most."

Sophie stared at me for an uncomfortably long time. Had I said something wrong? What was I thinking!? Of course, she doesn't love me!

"Why don't we just forget abou -"

I was stopped by a pair of lips hitting my mouth. My eyes went wide. I soon recovered from the shock and wrapped my arms around her waist, savoring every moment of the kiss I had wanted since I was fourteen. Her silky hands rested on my cheek as she pulled away.

"See, Hunkyhair?" Ro said. "I told you so."

She totally ruined the moment. I gave her the death-y-est of my death glares. She slowly backed away and out of the room, clearly understanding that I meant business. I turned back to Sophie, finding that she was softly staring into my eyes, her arms still wrapped around my neck.

"Does that mean-"' I started, unsure of what to make of the kiss (who knew Hunkyhair was oblivious too?).

"It means, I love you too, Keefe. Sure, I didn't realize it before, but... I do now. I love you, Keefe."

"Love you too, Foster.

A/N Major Sokeefe ends: Here

"Ahem," Bronte cleared his throat. "Are we going to get going or not?"

Next to him stood Oralie who had a sappy smile plastered on her face. Behind them, Emery stood in the center of a row of 10 councilors. I felt like asking Ro to throw me into an ogre dungeon - which she would gladly do - but instead, I squeezed Sophie's hand.

"I'm glad you've found someone to support you in this process," Emery said, "because Fitz is ready for you."

A/N Love isn't what makes the world go 'round. It's what makes it worth the ride. Oooooooh! Sokeefe is cannon in my story now!!!! Eeeeeep! o happy! This is one of the last chapters, but there is gonna be a third book. Byeeeeee1
