3rd Person's POV
Sebastian and Ciel run through the door and immediately rush to the servant's sides to help get Mey-Rin lose. Sebastian grabbed Kaneki's wrist and twisted it making him let go. Mey-Rin then collapsed onto the floor gasping for air and coughing violently. Bard and Finny helped her to her feet and into a chair at a small desk on the other side of the room.
Sebastian stood at Kaneki's side, still holding his wrist, when he noticed the boy barely had a pulse. He began testing a theory by pressing his thumb between the joint on Kaneki's wrist. He increased the pressure to the point that if he went on, he could have broken it. Yet when he examined Kaneki's face there was no sign of emotion despite the bruise that started to form.
'Something isn't right', he thought, 'He's not showing any sign of being able to feel pain and his eyes are blank'
"What's wrong with him.", Ciel moreso stated than asked
"I'm not quite sure myself", Sebastian replied, "But it was most likely caused by the demon toying with him."
"Is he . . . ok?", Mey-Rin wheezed out while holding her throat.
Bard and Finny both rested a hand on her shoulders and insisted that she needed to talk as little as possible so her throat could heal.
"Take her to her room", Ciel commanded
He turned to look at the three of them as Finny and Bard helped Mey-Rin out of her chair.
"He'll be fine", Ciel said, turning back around and looking down at Kaneki, "Just let him rest"
The servants stared at their master's back and gave a cheerful 'yessir' as a reply as they exited the room and closed the door. Sebastian looked towards Ciel out the corner of his eye, slightly amused.
"Wipe that bloody smirk off of your face", Ciel spat angrily looking up at Sebastian.
"Yes, my lord"
Kaneki's POV
I can't move, though I'm not in any pain. I can't feel anything, but I can hear, and my vision is a bit blurred but I'll live. I just wish i could say something. Tell them what happened and to be on guard. I'm glad it didn't take Sebastian long to figure out what was going on, but i wish there was more I could do. I'm not sure what could happen if I stay this way for long amounts of time as well.
Being able to apologize to Mey-Rin for my actions would also be ideal. I would feel awful if I didn't get the chance to do so. Even if what I did wasn't intentional, it still happened. The fact that she was concerned about my well being made my guilt that much worse.
I tried blinking my eyes a few times and began regaining some sense of feeling in my face and finger tips. My vision is beginning to recover, but I wasn't so lucky that I could actually move anything yet. At least anything besides my eyelids.
Ciel's POV
Hm?
I focused my attention back onto Kaneki. Did i just see...movement? Sebastian noticed my change in demeanor and looked back to Kaneki as well. Did he not notice it?
"My lord?"
"Shut up", I began, "He just moved"
Sebastian sighed and looked over Kaneki's whole body. He bent down to the boy's ear and placed his right hand atop his head.
"Can you try to move again?" Sebastian asked
Kaneki's POV
'It was hard enough trying to move the first time!'
Sebastian's POV
I stood back upright and looked over his body trying to spot any movement when i noticed his eye twitch.
"Young master, where did you see the previous movement?", I asked
"T'was somewhere on his upper body. His face I suppose.", Ciel answered
"His eye twitched," I stated, "I would think it safe to assume he can understand what we're saying at least. He just seems incapable of giving a definite response."
"I will keep an eye on him here, and for the time being have the others guard you."
"Sebastian!"
"If anything even close to what happened before happened again i would need to stop it promptly. Therefore i need to stay here. Having a servant watch him would be disastrous, and they are plenty capable of protecting you. I am sure of that."
I grinned and walked the young master to the door, as I reassured him that he would be fine. I called for Bard and asked that he get the young master ready for bed and locked the door. I walked back over to Kaneki after grabbing the desk chair and sat down. I placed a hand on an exposed part of his arm so that the connection would be stronger.
'I'd rather not have to do this, but I need to get to the root of the problem'
I relaxed and let my tensions melt away as i cleared my mind.
'Now what could possibly be going on in that mind of yours?'

I'm done! Finally! At least i finished it before the start of February. Had a little bit of writers block, but i tried not to make the chapter sound too forced. so hopefully it's fine. I have also started publishing this fanfic on https://www.webnovel.com/
They literally came to ME and asked if i would like to publish on their platform as well and that they recognize my "talent as a writer" so i decided to try it out. For now i only have the first 3 chapters posted, but i don't know. Check it out if you want, but it's the exact same. My username is the same as well. (ngl, i like the way wattpad is set up better)
