{I never would have thought in a million years that my book would have gotten this much recognition. I started this just for the hell of it fooling around and the fact that this has over 12 thousand reads now makes me tear up a little bit. Thank you, all of you, for taking the time out of your day to read my book, you have no idea how much this means to me.
Now, i am sorry for being gone for so long. I thought with the ongoing pandemic and being at home so much i would have more time to write but it was the opposite. I was even busier than before! There were a lot of deaths amongst my family and friends and i just needed a break from everything. But now i'm back and I will do my best to spit out chapters like nobody's business to make up for my absence!}
(recap)They hit a bump and Mey-Rin almost fell over the edge of the cart, and would have done so if it weren't for Kaneki grabbing her and sitting her down. The cart stopped shortly after and he looked up to see the town coming into view.
"We're hear"

3rd Person's POV
They finished their drive to the town and figured out where they'd be staying.
"Woooh, finally! Ma back was start'n to ache sit'n 'ere", Bard said, stretching before hopping over the side of the cart to start unloading the luggage.
Finny was going to help but a beautiful woman caught his eye. A servant by the name of Angela greeted Ciel and Sebastian at the door and led them to her master. Finny couldn't help but stare after her in awe.
"Aaaahh, she was gorgeous . . . . ", Finny sighed as he daydreamed, still seated in the cart.
"Get your ass up Finny! I could use some help!", Bard growled, looking at the blonde lump in the cart, "You're strong enough ta do all this yourself!"
"Alright, alright. I'm comin!", Finny said, but not for one second did the woman's image leave his mind.
. . . .
'Guess they forgot about me', Kaneki thought somewhat bitterly as he inched his way to the open end of the cart, 'I'm still not fully healed so I'm going to require some help to get things done.'
SIGH
'I've gotten so used to healing quickly that the fact that my leg is still useless is highly bothersome. This wouldn't have happened had i been home.', I thought, ' I would have already consumed another ghoul by now and i wouldn't be starving.'
Kaneki's stomach growled and he grabbed the side of the cart with his right hand, taking in deep breathes willing his hunger away. His left foot made contact with the ground and he pushed himself upright. He stood there, balancing on his left leg and bracing himself with his right hand.
He looked around and spotted Mey-Rin and began calling to her asking for help to his room. And his head began to throb as he was overcome by a horrible nauseousness in his stomach.
"not this shit again...", He mumbled as he began to sway.
He did his best to sit back down before blacking out, but the last thing he remembered was the feeling of gravel against his cheek and the screams of Mey-Rin.

Ciel's POV
What in the hell? There was a sound like screaming from outside. I looked at Sebastian and he nodded, but Angela stopped him.
