Ok, let me get this out of the way. For those of you who are just now reading the book, it has had MAJOR revisions. Please let me know if something doesn't add up or if there is anything wrong with my spelling.
For everyone who has already read my original book and is reading my new version of it, I hope you enjoy it just as much as the first. Sorry for taking so long to edit it.
(Although it's still not complete, please be patient I'm trying)
Kaneki's POV
I was at Anteiku and something didn't seem right. It felt as though someone was watching me. I slightly turn my head to both sides, but I was currently the only one there. Before I could manage turning my head back around I felt something latch onto my left wrist.
I whipped my head back around to see a rotting black dismembered arm holding on to me. I gagged. I've never smelled such repulsive flesh before. I stood and slung it away from me, to only see it disappear. But the smell lingered.
"I must have finally lost my mind" I mumbled to myself. I run a hand through my white hair and take a sip of my coffee. The smell gets strong again. This time multiple hands reach out of thin air grabbing at me. My legs, feet, head... anywhere on my body.
They rip me off of my seat and onto the floor. For some reason or another I can't seem to use my kagune, it won't listen to me. Dark matter started surrounding me. So I try the second best thing, and yell. I wish I didn't. The disgustingly foul hands started covering my mouth, and I dry heaved before finally passing out.
Sebastian's POV
Me and the young master were fighting Grell and Madame Red on the jack the reaper case. Grell had me pinned to a wall and his chainsaw was slowly going into my shoulder. I sensed something coming near us at a fast pace, but couldn't quite tell where it was coming from.
I looked to the right just in time to see a white haired boy hit the ground with such force that his body bounced. Everyone stopped and looked to the boy with pure shock on their faces. I took this opportunity to kick Grell away from me.
After a moment, the boy stood to his feet. I took into account that he also didn't smell human, which would explain how he could get up despite hitting the ground so hard. Now I just need to figure out what he is.
The boy looked at me, and I noticed that he had a red and black eye, and I realized that I had no idea what he was.
Kaneki's POV
I wake up to find myself on the ground outside. I was no longer in Anteiku. I get off the ground and stumble slightly, trying to regain my balance. Once I'm up, I take a look at my surroundings and realize that there are 4 other people here, and the road and buildings don't look like the ones in Japan.
I look to the man closest to me and ask, "Who are you, and where am I?"
Sebastian's POV
I guess he hit his head a little harder than I thought.
Kaneki's POV
My head was still spinning and my stomach was severely nauseated. I'm surprised that I can even stand right now. I feel as though I might pass out again. I'm not sure if this man is my attacker or not, but before I pass out, I want to at least get one hit on him.
I let out my kagune and jump straight at him. I first try to punch him, and he easily sidesteps me. I twist my body in mid air and try to impale him with my kagune, to which he just dodges. As I fell backwards he looked me dead in the eyes with his fuchsia ones and had a grin on his face. And I passed out, once again, before my back even hit the ground.
Sebastian's POV
I turn my attention back to my master just in time to see Madame Red raise her arm in the air, readying herself to stab Ciel. And of course, my master doesn't even try to move out of the way. I rush over, getting ready to rip Madame Red to pieces, but the young master stops me. Madame Red didn't do it. She dropped her knife and she looked as though she was going to cry.
Ciel's POV
I knew she wouldn't have the guts to do it. Though had I been wrong.... well, that's not important. I wasn't wrong and I have no intentions of dying in such a pathetic way.
My thoughts evaporated into nothingness as I watch Grell slice my aunt across her chest with his chainsaw.
'IwillnotletmyemotionsshowIwillnotletmyemotionsshowIwillnotletmyemotionsshow!' It was the only thing swirling through my head.
I put on a cold face and told Sebastian to finish fighting Grell as I stood to the side biting my tongue till it bled. I refuse to let anyone see my emotions. No matter what. Madame Red had committed a crime and now she has paid for it. Nothing more and nothing less.
Sebastian's POV
I continued to fight Grell and managed to get his chainsaw away from him. This annoying twat had the audacity to flirt with me the whole time we were fighting. I'm able to tire him it a bit and grab his chainsaw.
"Now this seems like a befitting way to die now doesn't it?" I say with a devilish grin spreading across my face.
"NO, NO! PLEASE! WAIT! YOU CANT KILL A DIVINE BEING."
"It is an order from my master. I can, and I will"
I swung the chainsaw down, only to be stopped by another grim reaper.
'I just can't have any fun around here can i.' I thought, 'Oh well.'
He introduced himself as William and apologized on Grell's behalf.
"I never thought I'd see the day when i'd have to bow my head to trash like you." William murmured in disgust.
"Then you had better get your men under contol." I said, eyeing him carefully.
He gathered Grell and his reapers scythe and went on his way. I looked toward the boy on the ground with mild curiosity. I held my right hand up and tugged at the bottom of the white glove out of habit.
"Now, what am I going to do with you?"
