I didn't move my eyes from our guests even for a second.to me they felt even more dangerous than the dead ones walking around.

"Here."Lexi says and hands me a cup of warm tea.i thank her with a smile.

"They are handsome.if that serious look wasn't on your face,i'd say you're into them."Lexi says and smirks.

"Arial was right.they seem to be out here to have fun."i say and take a sip from my tea.

Lexi shrugs. "We can handle them,like always."she smiles and i return it. "Like always."i say.

"Morning dad!"Lexi says to Martin.

"Morning Martin."i say.

"Morning girls."he says with a smile. "It's a good day,isn't it?"

"It is.we're gonna walk to the small town nearby to see what we see.maybe we can find a place to stay in for a week or so.we'll be back soon."Lexi says as we talked about it last night.

"Are 'kay with that?you haven't slept a bit."he says.

"We are.i mean,we all sleep one eye open."i say and let out a sad laugh.

"Then take care.if you weren't back before the sun goes down,we'll come after you."he says.

"Good bye dad."Lexi says and hugs him before we leave.

"Don't hesitate to pull the trigger.these people..can't be trusted."i whisper to Martin.

"Don't worry,Kendall.we all be safe."he says with a smile.i nod to him.

After me and Lexi take our stuff we start out little journey.it's good that i'm not scared of the woods anymore.

"Don't you have a story to tell me?like the one i told you the day before?i mean,if you don't mind because i don't like silence."Lexi says with her adorable smile on her face.

"Well,i never met up with a gang.it was always me,Lana and Jonas.my dad was a sheriff so was his best friend Shane.you know,we used to go to parties a lot.i was known as the sheriff's princess after Shane beat the hell out of my boyfriend because he kissed me."i say and let out a laugh as i remember the memory.so does Lexi. "If you think i was who obeyed the rules,well the answer's a big no.in the summers,specially on the weekends Shane walked in the police station facing me,Lana and Jonas cos of getting drunk and driving,sometimes cos of getting high or maybe cos of drawing shits on the walls."i say and laugh more.it seems like they happened million years ago..now they seem strange..like the world has never been normal.even a bit.

"Oh my Kendall Grimes!you were the sheriff's daughter and..oh my god,you drove a car drunk?"Lexi says with her wide eyes and laughs.i nod. "Yup.Shane walked to me and he was like Grimes!the hell you did this time? And i made him angrier.but u know,he never let my parents to say a word about it."i smile and say.

"Wow.he seems like a good person."Lexi says.

"Yeah,he is.he's like my older brother,but..he sometimes acts like a dad."i say.

I see a walker and cut his head off.another one shows up and Lexi handles it.

"So u had a lot of dramas,huh?"Lexi says.

"I did,but just before getting into college and before we decide to be doctors.we had so many plans.we wanted to travel the world,throw out big parties and maybe turn back to our dirty life back in high school,but..now it's all gone.they just are..memories."i say with a sad smile.

"Who knows?maybe one day it'll be alright."she says.

"I hope so.i mean,now they are gone,but i hope everything changes."
