35/Nothing Lasts Forever

I fell on my knees with my tears streaming down my face to another dead body i had to kill.My body was trembling,it was the fear,it was the weakness and it was everything.I hadn't closed my eyes and the sick weather didn't help me.I wasn't sick,but i felt so weak.

Daryl and the others weren't back,dad and Maggie were dealing with the walkers behind the fences,me and Hershel were trying to keep people alive and some fought death.

I saw Sasha's body on the ground. "No,no,no.."I whined and ran to her. "You know how to fight,Sash."I said when i checked her weak pulse.I tried to save her with Caleb's IVs. "Breathe,Sash..come on girl.."

"What happened?"Hershel asked.

"Close the cell's doors.We're not doing good really.."I said and held my hand between my hands. "How's Glenn?"

"The same."He responded. "Kendall,you're a tough girl.You can't give up,we're in this together."

I coughed. "I'm tired of loosing,Hershel."

"I know,i know."He sighed. "We don't get to be upset.We have jobs to do,alright?"

I looked up at him. "You're a light in everyone's path,Hershel."

He chuckled. "Come on girl."

I got up and felt a bit dizzy but the sound of someone screaming made me run.I saw a walker over a man and then another walker and then another..the room span around,but i had to get the control.

I stabbed a walker and then another. "Hershel!"I yelled. "Caleb's got gun in his cell!"

There were sick people starring at me when i stabbed the walkers and i could do nothing.I hated to do it..my tears ran down my face..i think i had enough..i really had enough..

I heard Lizzie screaming and then i saw a walker on top of her. "Shit!"I cursed and ran upstairs throwing the walker away,he landed on a net instead of falling down on the ground.

"You okay?"I helped Lizzie up and i heard Glenn coughing,then i saw blood coming out of his cell.I panicked.I pushed Lizzie and another kid in a cell closing the door. "Stay put."I said and ran towards Glenn.

"Glenn,Glenn,stay with me.."I pleaded and held his head down.He coughed more blood.

"He needs the breathe tube!"I said and looked at Hershel with watery eyes.

He looked ag me then Glenn. "We're not loosing him."He said and walked away to get the breathing tube.

I heard gunshot and then i heard Maggie.

"Where's Glenn?"She asked.

"Here!"I yelled so that she could here me. "Hershel,he's turning blue!"

"Oh no.."Maggie cried.

Hershel got back with the breathing tube.I opened Glenn's mouth sending the tube in his throat with my trembling hands.Maggie held his head crying and we didn't stop worrying till Glenn breathed calmly and he seemed better.

I took a deep breathe and leaned to the wall behind me with my whole body still shaking with fear.

"Is he gonna be okay?"Lizzie asked.

"He is."Hershel said. "Go get a tea."

"Everything okay out there?"I asked Maggie.

"The walkers are tearing the fences down."She said. "They're a pain in my ass."

I chuckled. "Everything is."

Me and Hershel checked up on everyone else.Sasha and Glenn were find,i mean,they were better.
