Felicia's Pov

I paced back and forth in my room as Andy left with the news he had come to deliver.

You're so stupid Felicia.

Pranking an assassin?.

I had had enough of his craziness and decided to give him a taste of his own medicine and now he wants us to go for dinner.

Maybe he was willing to apologise.

I've never heard him apologize.

I thought of ways to feign a sickness so we could cancel the dinner but I knew I had to go.

Prepare for the worst.

Nicholas was waiting for me in front of my room,when I got out that evening.

I wore a simple black vintage dress with matching heels.

He was also dressed in black.

Black fits him so much.

" You ready?"

" Yeah ......."

He showed no sign of hatred or anger at what I had done yesterday. He was just plain quiet.

" Is this where you silently kill me" I announced once we were seated in the car. Oregon wasn't driving. He was the one driving.

" Why would I kill you Felicia,have you done anything bad"

" No but....."

"Yes or no Felicia"

The feeling back in high school when you are called by the Principal who starts interrogating you. You want to lie but you've been caught an he or she looks at you with rim of their glasses.

That was how it felt like with Nicholas. Just that he wasn't in glasses.

" No"

Nicholas was busily speaking in Italian with most of the workers and I guess it could be one of his restaurants.

There was something weird about the way he spoke to them.

He wasn't cruel or rude.

He was always shouting and screaming at his employees back in LA.

So he liked his hometown better. I snorted.

Finally we sat down to eat and he kept staring at me

" I'm not on the menu you know,if you want to order me then ask me to my face"

He chuckled.
Okay so Mr Nice .

The silence reigned for a long time and I was beginning to get restless.

Finally he got up.

" Excuse me,I'll be back"

I nodded.

And I waited.

Waited.

Waited .

An hour later, Nicholas wasn't back. Was he gone?

The waitress came.

" Excuse me ma'am your bill"

I opened my mouth at the amount. It was expensive.

I didn't even understand Italian money.

" He just stepped out, he'll be back to pay"

" Who?"
