Nicholas's Pov

Diego Fernandez was my adopted name. I joined a gang in high school which dealt in mafia issues and when my Dad got to know,he kicked me out.

Hernando Fernandez took me in and nurtured me. He taught me how to kill and to me sneaky,I was already talented so I became an assassin in a few years. I killed people he hated and gained his favor.

Andrew Quinston wanted me back after a few years later but I refused, some deal was on,Hernando was looking for someone and I had the mission of finding that person.

When Andrew died,I had to take over his job because Jason refused to do so and mostly because our Target was right in LA.

Now I was striving to become the World's best Mafia leader and also richest business man.

" Why did I have to go ,if my job was just to faint?" Felicia pulled me back to reality and I realized she had come back from her shock.

". Isn't it obvious,you're smart figure it out"

" I .... don't know"

" Sebastian leaves his podium to speak to you and excuses himself,boom then then gunshot started"

" So I was a distraction?"

" Yes"

" Why would he want to speak to me,there were exotic ladies"

" You don't know how much you're worth Felicia"

" I'm not a jewelery or something" I frowned.

You're more than that.

I didn't want to say it,I just shrugged.

" Let me show you the pool"

" Okay"

I led the way towards the pool behind my room and I smiled as a wicked thought clouded my mind.

" Come let me show you something"

For someone who was sassy she sure wasn't suspicious if anything bad was coming her way.

I stationed her by the pool and stood behind her.

" What ........"

She didn't finish before I had pushed her into the pool,her loud screams like music to my ears.

" You are destroying my dress,you freak"

" You mean that cheap 400 dollars dress"

" Cheap?"

" I can buy thousands of those"

" Yeah I don't care"..

She struggled to get out but slipped and fell downwards.

" Help....I can't swim"

I smiled.

" After all your rudeness,you can't run nor swim"

No answer.

She disappeared beneath and the water became still. For the first time  that night,my heart skipped a beat.

I jumped into the pool and began searching frantically for her.

" Felicia?"

" What the fuck, Felicia come out"

I crawled under and came back up. Where did she even go.

A snicker made me turn sideways as I saw her at the edge of the pool,legs crossed and smirking at me

" Two can play the death game,now it's your turn to suffer"

I knew what she was about to do. The pool had three states.
Normal,COLD AND Warm.

From the cold smoke arising from each end ,she had set it to cold.

" You won't get away with this"

" Oh I will, and I'm going"

She strutted gracefully into the room leaving me freezing in the pool.

Instinct hit me as to why I'm still in the pool and I swam out.

Karma not being on my side,she had placed some slippery substance at the edges so I slipped and fell back inside.

" Felicia get your butt down here or else you'll be dead before you get back to LA" I shouted to an empty house.

Andy,Darwin and Horatio were taking care of some business downtown and I wasn't ready to call any of the maids to come to my aid.

I would get out!!.

I woke up  covered in twenty blankets, three pillows and about five socks on my feet.

Felicia!

I managed to get out of the pool last night but I don't remember what happened again.

" Wakey wakey, Nicky" the voice was a male voice. It was Horatio.

" Uhhhh......"

" You okay?" Someone snickered behind me and I knew it was Darwin.

" What the heck happened to me?"

" You passed out when you came to bed,and you were shaking so Felicia ordered the maids to cover you up"

" And dress me up like some dummy"

" A mummy is the right word" Andy replied and I shot him a death glare.

I will show her who she has messed with.

" Where's  Felicia?"

" In her room sleeping"

" Tell her to dress up,we're going for dinner."

They turned to me with a shocked look.

" No gunshot,no torture,no burning, no beating ....just dinner??"

" Trust me the torture will come"
