The moment the bottle pointed to Zac, it felt like everything around me drowned out. The music, chatter and laughter was distant, like it was in another universe.

A high pitched ring echoed into my ear. I continuously blinked at the bottle, like I had magical powers to move it.

The temperature around me rose, bubbles of sweat formed on my forehead. Audible sounds escaped my mouth, I was unable to formulate words. My eyes were shut tightly, trying to comprehend the situation.

Slowly but surely, my senses became normalised. I felt myself present in the room. My eyes darted around our circle to see the reaction of the others.

Harry and Josh suppressed their laughter, they were pushing themselves not to howl deliriously. Rachel and Danielle were whispering to each other, like devious gossiping school girls. Melissa had her lips pursed, her brow raised, she acted as if she was ready to watch a show. Ruby eyes were widened, her mouth gaped open, not understanding how to react to the situation.

I then turned my head towards Zac. He continued to sit in a relaxed position in his chair. Slowly bringing his drink up to his lips, taking small sips whilst also subtly smiling.

Just as I was about to back down from the dare, Ruby's words rang in my head. They were etched into my brain. I couldn't back away.

"What's wrong Hannah Montana?" Zac sarcastically called out, "I never had you as someone backing down from a challenge."

The air around me piled up with tension. The mere stuck-up aura Zac had around him, sparked annoyance in me.

"Who said I'm backing down?" I confidently replied back, "I've spun the bottle, I've done my part, I'm waiting for you."

A wave of gasps rippled through the circle. All eyes were on us, beadily watching us, the only thing missing was popcorn for those to enjoy, as if they were watching a movie.

In the space of a few seconds, Zac took the last swig of his drink and swiftly glided his way to me. Before I knew it, he was in close proximity. As he towered over me, I was forced lift my head to meet his eyes.

His deep breaths attacked my skin. With my lips straight, showing no emotion, I slyly narrowed my eyes, trying to make him break contact. Like a sculpture, he stood there, consuming me within his deep green pupils.

"Are you sure you want to do this Hannah Montana?" Zac whispered in an almost sensual tone.

"Like you said, I'm not the type to back down from a challenge." I threw his words back at him.

Background chuckles were pinging around us, but all my ears were accustomed to, was the banging of my heart.

I couldn't understand what I was feeling.
