Jeon and Jia are in love but refuse to break the bond of their friendship. Content with not revealing what they feel for each other, they decide not to date other people and remain constantly together even after graduation. Embarking on lofty career...
It was their wedding day, and Jia was so nervous. After meeting Jeon's parents, there was a flurry of preparations that left her and Jeon breathless. News announcements about her wedding got followers of her vlog curious about her would-be husband, such that she gave in to a request to guest him in one of her vlog posts. The post hit a million views after only a day, as people were curious about the "handsome director" she was about to marry. Music videos directed by Jeon suddenly acquired more views.
A news media outlet even interviewed them both, with female fans gushing over "Handsome Kookie," the term which trended even on Twitter. Jeon couldn't understand all the interest in him. From out of nowhere, a video of him singing during their planning session even got uploaded. He got messages on his social media accounts, newly-acquired fans clamoring for him to get into singing.
Due to so much attention on them both, they had to plan the wedding to be held outside Seoul. His parents suggested holding it in Busan where they originally hailed from, to which Jia's parents agreed.
Unlike other women, Jia didn't want any pomp and ceremony for her wedding. They wanted a small wedding but it was impossible, with the kind of connections they both had, and the prominence of Jeon's family in the business world. They were resigned to a big crowd and maybe even media around on their wedding.
Not wanting to get stressed, they got a wedding coordinator to take care of the leg work and canvassing for them. Even then, it was still nerve-wracking. In the end, it was a wedding with 500 guests, but they kept it as simple as possible.
"Unnie, you look radiant," San-Ha said admiringly.
"You are looking so pretty as well. The boys out there will surely get smitten."
"I'm following your example, unnie. Just one semester left and I'll be done with looking for a job after I graduate. No boyfriends for now."
"That's my girl. So proud of you San-Ha."
The wedding coordinator came in to collect them both. Jia's parents were waiting for her as they stepped out of the hotel suite.
"Ready, princess? You look so beautiful. I see you're wearing the earrings eomma and I got for you. Be happy my princess," Her father opened his arms with tears in his eyes. She hugged him and then her mother, as she tried so hard not to cry.
They went to their respective places and waited for their cues to walk along the aisle. Jia was nervous and suddenly shy of the attention. She took a peek at the crowd and was amazed at how many people came to see their wedding. But her eyes really went for the only person she wanted to see.
The music began to play and one by one, they started walking. Jia felt her knees shaking, but she tried to keep her composure and walked, her gaze steady.
