Jeon

It was a week after his sleepover before Jeon saw Jia again. Jia had no idea that he was actually awake when she kissed him. Although there were times that he felt certain she was attracted to him, her kiss surprised him.

Today they were shooting a teaser for her appearance in the Midnight Show. He wasn't quite sure how they would interact after what happened. He left before dawn the next morning from her place, to make sure no gossip would come out of it. Truth be told though, he was not quite sure how to react the morning after.

She was walking out of the dressing room as he arrived, and it looked like she wasn't in a good mood.

"Good morning Jia."

"Good morning."

She walked right past him and settled into one of the armchairs, reading her script. With a shrug, he went to his chair and opened his Macbook. He was used to her mood swings by now, today wasn't any different.

The shoot went well and finished after two hours. Jeon had a meeting with a new client and made a call to tell his client he was on the way. After taking a quick glance at Jia, he thought it best not to approach and left.

Jia

Jeon left without even approaching her and it ruined her day. But who was to blame? She didn't even spare him a glance earlier when he greeted her. And Jeon, wise as he was, never indulged her mood swings and decided to leave her alone. Damn. Everytime she wanted him to notice her, the more he stays away.

But she didn't mean to be stand-offish. The truth was, she was nervous about seeing him again. To this day she had no idea if he was awake that night she kissed him. It was also good that he left early while she was still asleep because she didn't know how to face him that morning.

She sighed wistfully, wondering what to do next. They had no schedules together for the next two weeks. If she called him now to ask him out, he might get funny ideas. But Jeon would never call her. He was too busy, too engrossed with work to have any idle time to think about these things.

Her phone suddenly rang, startling her. It was Jeon calling.

"Hello?"

"Jia, do you have a minute?"

"Sure, what about?"

"I'm with a client. They're a Swedish clothing brand, Stijl. Familiar?"

"Yes, I have a few pieces from their fashion week show recently."

"Yes, they noticed you wore some of their clothing in your vlog and would like to discuss a possible collaboration with you. Does your contract allow that?"

"I'm not endorsing any clothing brand so I don't see any problem. Let me talk to Nina first just to be sure. Nine will be picking me up, we'll talk about it."

"Ok, in case you're open for it, they'd like to meet you for dinner tomorrow if you're free."

"Will you be there?" She blurted the question out before she could stop herself.

Stupid, Jia, so stupid.

"Oh, ah....do you want me to be there? I mean, I don't need to be there if you prefer."

"I don't really know them Jeon, I'd much prefer if you come along if you're not busy?"

"OK. Message me later if you and Nina can make it tomorrow."

"Thanks Jeon. See you then."

"Take care Jia. Bye."

Well, that was quick. Damn, she wanted to talk to him some more but he was with a client.
