Melody POV

"Who wakes up this early by choice?" Yemoja grumbled as I was getting all the papers together.

We were currently in father's study, and it was six in the morning. She was very unhappy when I woke her up this morning, so was Levi who was sleeping in her bed.

"Get use to it. You need to take advantage of all the time you can get." I told her as I sat down.

I had 5 piles laid out on the desk . I sat down and looked across the desk at Yemoja who was currently yawning.

"How do you do that?" She questioned me.

"Do what?" I asked back confused about what exactly she was talking about.

"Stare at me yawning and not yawn?"

Is she serious

"Can you be serious we have a lot to do today." I told her straightening out the piles in front of me.

"I am serious, but if you don't want to tell me your secret I understand."

"There is no secret. I am just not tired." I don't understand her being persistent about this.

"So that's how you do it. Okay let's get  started what are these papers for?" She questioned going to pick up a paper but I slammed my hand down on the pile.

"These are your choices, I told you father had his hand in different things and instead of putting them under one brand he had multiple brands." I explained to her.

"This pile is Melody Rose these are his hotels and resorts. This is Branded his auto business, they sell cars and also car services. This one is Knight Industries, his stocking business, they buy and sell stocks. MidKnight is his restaurants, lounges, and clubs. Lastly Faye, it was his newest one so it's smaller than the others but is growing quite fast, this is his clothing and shoe stores. " I explained each pile tapping them as I went.

She immediately grabbed the last pile looking at the logo on the front which was in soft script and had a tiny fairy at the end sitting on the y.

" I thought  you would go with MidKnight." I said watching as she kept staring.

"When did he start this?" She asked in a whisper.

"In 2005, it was quite random since he never shown interest in clothing." I told her and out of no where she bust out crying.

What is happening?

I am so confused as to why she is crying. She was perfectly fine just a few minutes ago.

She placed the pile down getting up and walked out the room, still sobbing.

As she did that I put all the other piles away except Faye. I turned to the computer and turned it on, I needed to get started on my presentations. I could just sit there and tell them how great the companies are and how much they make but I rather show them. Studies show more people listen with their eyes than their actual ears.

I was just getting everything pulled up when Yemoja walked back in free of tears, her eyes were red and puffy though.

"Are you ready to learn about the business you picked?" I asked her as she sat down in the seat she was in before.

"You not going to ask why I was crying?" She questioned staring at me.

I sighed out and leaned forward on the desk with my hands folded in front of me.

"Do you want to tell me why you were crying?" I retorted back.

She let out a laugh and shook her head.
