Melody has no idea what casual clothes consists of. She never had a reason to dress casual so she was having a hard time.As she was looking through her clothes there was a knock on her door. She was hoping it wasn't her grandmother because she didn't feel like talking to her. When another knock came she knew it definitely wasn't her grandmother who would just walk in. She walked to the door cracking it open slightly to see who it was.
Levi stood there waiting for her to open the door . Melody was actually happy to see him because he could help her pick something out.
" I am glad it's you, come in I need some help." She let him in and closed the door. He was very curious as to what she needed help with it wasn't normal for her to ask for help and this was twice in one day.
" What do you need help with?" He asked following her as she walked to her closet. Her closet always amazed him it was the same size of his room and it even had a couch and table in here.
" I need something casual to wear and I have no idea what that looks like." She stated turning to him.
"Oh you going out somewhere?" He joked looking through her clothes for something even slightly casual, she didn't really have nothing casual no jeans or regular t-shirts just dress up clothes.
"Yeah I'm going out to eat." She watched him go through her stuff but he paused when she responded.
" oh you should have let me know. Once I'm done I'll go get a car ready." Levi found a simple cream pullover and some black stretch pants. He grabbed a pair of her white and black sneakers since she was limited in the sneaker department.
"Here this should be good"He turned handing her the outfit. She was biting her lip looking down at the ground.
"What's wrong ?" He asked confused as she quickly took the clothes and rushed to the bathroom with out an answer. He decided to wait for her to come out. When she finally did come out she walked past Levi and straight to her hamper avoiding him.
"Okay so I am just going to get the car ready." He wasn't going to push her to tell him anything.
"I won't need it and I don't need you to come with me. I'm going out with my Aunt Bri." Melody didn't want him to try and stop her so she was hesitant on telling him.
"Absolutely not. We do not know what that woman intentions are. Why would I just let you leave by yourself with her?" He was honestly surprised that Melody was doing something this bold. Well bold for her anyway. He just couldn't let her leave unattended.
"You don't know her but I do. She would never put me in harms way, and there is no motive. I don't need a babysitter anymore." Melody respected Levi for looking out for her all these years, but she doesn't need anybody holding her back anymore.
" I know you are concerned about my safety so I will bring my phone just in case. Okay?" She was trying to compromise, even though she didn't have to. Melody still has not realized the power she holds and doesn't think of Levi as a simple employee. He was somebody that also had a slight control on the things she do.
"Melody I just don't think it's a good idea but who am I to stop you. Your phone and wallet is in your draw." He pointed to the nightstand by her bed before walking out of the room slamming the door. Melody jumped at the noise not sure why he did that.
She grabbed her stuff from the draw and walked out. She had to be fast so nobody would try to stop and talk to her. Luckily she was able to get to the garage fast and undetected. She saw her aunt leaning on a silver car typing on her phone. The garage door was already open blowing a light breeze in.
