"Can't you see if you can get her to talk or do something?" Helen whispered to Levi as they both looked over at Melody who was staring out the window. She hasn't said anything since they got home from the hospital and they were extremely worried. They all assumed she was sad or depressed about her parents, but truthfully she wasn't. She was thinking because something didn't seem right and after seeing her parents she was positive something wasn't right. Nothing was clicking and there was a bunch of holes in the story.
"I've tried everything she just needs time." Levi tried to assure her but he himself was not so sure. Truth was he never saw her like this, even when they first met and she was not comfortable with him she still responded to him with small responses.
"Well we have a lot of people coming today so do something"Helen demanded before walking away to make sure everything was going correctly for today. Her grandparents have been staying at the house for the past week, planning the funeral and arranging everything. Melody obviously wasn't able to do it.
Levi rolled his eyes , tired of dealing with Gregory's parents, well more so his mother. She thinks everybody that works for them is her servant and that she can speak to them anyway or make them do everything she wants. Latoya was aggravating with her attitude but Helen proved to be a bigger bitch.
Walking over to Melody standing by the tall window, he stood next to her looking out the window to see what had her focus. He saw multiple people bringing in various of items from flowers and chairs to tents? He was so confused as to why they needed tents, but he expected nothing less than extravagance from the Knights. He truly didn't know why rich people always spent so much money on was everything.
" You have to start getting ready. Do you need me to get somebody to lay an outfit out for you?" He asked her looking over as her eyes never left from it's place. He didn't expect an answer so he was surprised when he received one.
"No thank you." She said simply before walking off.
She hated it when somebody picked out what she wears, except when she goes to bed. She always let them do it because her mother demanded it, but now that she was gone Melody wanted to do it herself.
She stepped into her room and took a deep sigh.
Today was going to be a long day, it was her parents funeral and she was positive that there was going to be a lot of people.
She had enough frustration from her Grandparents who all week have been constantly trying to talk to her and connect with her. She was tired of it and them, she couldn't be more happier once they leave. Then she can look more into what happened with her parents.
Her grandparents refused to let the cops talk to her or give her any information regarding the accident. They didn't want her to be more traumatized. That pissed her off more and made her not want to acknowledge them at all
'They think they know what's best for me' Melody scoffed at the thought, How could they know what's best for her when they truly didn't know her. Walking to her closet seeing what she could wear today. Her closet was organized by color and item(skirts, shirts, pants) so it wasn't hard to find an outfit. The occasion had a simple dress code, black.
She picked the first black dress she saw, which was a silk spaghetti strap dress that stopped at her knee and intricate lace detail at the bottom. Walking over to her shoes, Her mind automatically went to her mother as she looked at all the heels she had.

"I don't like these they hurt my feet." A young Melody complained as her mother and etiquette teacher watched her walk back and forth in the 4inch heels.
